Prologue: David is like many children who are not gifted in athletics, social skills, or even really driven to show their intelligence by fully applying themselves in scholastic endeavors, thus making him a standard target for bullies of both sexes. Becoming quite fed up with this abusive treatment long before he would enter adolescence, David developed an extreme sense of apathy toward the taunting, teasing, pushing, shoving and all manners of trauma bullies have used for centuries against their peers. That quickly expanded to include school, his teachers and even all of his peers. At least that was the case before his life changed in ways he could never imagine, not even in his wildest of daydreams during a spring day at school just before the end of school.
