Prologue
The secret to self sustaining fusion reactions lead do a new boom in inexpensive energy and the population of the Earth started to rise again. This lead to the development of FTL drive technology and the colonization of worlds in other star systems. The governance of the Earth started to become more and more repressive and it started taking control of the nearest colonies. Seeing what was coming 12 very wealthy families that were leaders in the BDSM sub-cultures world wide came together and acting in secret they built a colony ship of their own. They targeted a distant start system knowing that ultimately distance would be the best defense and named their new home Dominion. The Dominion Chronicle follows the life of a son of one of the founding families some 400 years after the founding of Dominion.
