Chapter 19

Flashback – Major M – Undisclosed location

The L.Cpl. stated the obvious, "Sir the firing stopped, maybe they left?"

I shook my head and the Sgt. suggested, "Well if you really think so why don't you step outside and waltz around the Humvee."

He said, "No, I don't think that would be such a good idea."

I briefly considered making it an order - but I still needed the L.Cpl...

Flashback – Ira – Undisclosed location

My sister Mira jumped upward, what in hades was transpiring? I acquired her location with my scope but I could not accept as true what I occulated!!! Mira was correct – Fecal Matter!

The previously viewed bush was actually a person who had captured and incapacitated my sister. It now stood and held her erect. I occulated a pistol in the scoundrel's hand; the pistol was also applied to my sister's head. I calculated the probability of success for me decimating this miscreant when a particularly obnoxious circumstance occurred.

Flashback – Jack – Undisclosed location

Damn! Banzai succeeded in capturing Mira, and I finally located Ira because of her quick movements. Damn, was she ever hidden well. With things under control for Banzai, I concentrated on Ira and I sure as hell didn't like what I saw. So, I decided to give her something to think about! I fired three shots - one in front and one on each side of her.

Then I decided to have some more fun...

Flashback – Ben – Undisclosed location

Yeah my plan worked. But I was worried that it worked too well - the stun gun knocked Mira on her ass. I picked her up and helped her stand with a pistol against her head so Ira could see. I wanted her to give up. Then Jack started shooting and I worried that Ira might have decided to shoot me, so I ducked back down but still used the unconscious Mira as a shield...

Flashback – Major M – Undisclosed location

I crawled deeper into the Humvee and swore, "That, L.Cpl. is why you didn't hear them firing - they relocated." Yeah one (or possibly both) of them moved and now they could see the back of the Humvee and just shot the hell out of it and my escape plan...

Flashback – Jack – Undisclosed location

Damn Mira and Ira might be on to something: It was fun as hell shooting the Humvee especially knowing the Major was inside. But it was time to get to work so I moved back to Ira as the target, fired three more shots even closer this time and she finally got the message. I watched as she stood up and slowly began to remove her weapons – shit she carried more weapons than Carter had little pills. Then she slowly walked towards Banzai so I fired a round toward his general location...

Flashback – Ben – Undisclosed location

I used the time while Jack played with the rifles. I searched the hell out of Mira (a quite pleasant job) and found a hell of a cache of weapons. Gagged her (but first I got my kiss), put a bag over her head then I used her thumb cuffs to disable her hands and used a pair of handcuffs around the ankles for her feet. Jack fired a round close to me. I knew it was a signal so I raised up, used Mira as a shield and saw Ira as she walked toward me.

I let her get to about fifty meters, disguised my voice and yelled, "Turn around, lie face down on the sand with your legs spread, your arms straight out from your body, your fingers opened and don't move."

Yeah this was going to be the most dangerous part of this mission - the physical capture of Ira. We had trained for situations like this so I was sure they had even better training, but I had an advantage and her name was Mira.

Ira complied, I let her lie like that for about five minutes then I ordered, "Your sister will be killed if you move."

I slowly slipped toward Ira...

Flashback – Ira – Undisclosed location

Offspring of a female-saluki! I had hoped to maintain an opportunity to use a few of the weapons which were still concealed on my body. But the chance was rendered impossible in this position. I was even forced to discard the throwing stars which were concealed in my hands.

As I lay for an interminable amount of time on the sand I cogitated two items: One, this was a diabolical and dastardly plan of Major M to capture us, which also meant they were now free from the disabled vehicles and could provide support to the harlequins. Two, the best plan now was to allow myself to be captured, verify my sister wasn't permanently damaged and then activate our escape together.

Therefore, I remained motionless even as I heard the footsteps approach.

I began to question, "How is ... Aiiiiii!"

Flashback – Jack – Undisclosed location

Damn, I wondered if that Frankenprod was too powerful? When Banzai nailed Ira with it, she jumped straight up off the sand (I didn't know a person could do that) then flopped around like a fish out of water.

Then I watch him search her (some guys have all the fun) removed a bunch more weapons (the sneaky bitch – but then aren't all women sneaky?), used some of her own thumb cuffs to disable her hands, used a pair of hand cuffs around the ankles and a bag over the head. I could now relax so I went back to shooting the Humvee.

Flashback – Ben – Undisclosed location

Damn I sat on the sand beside the restrained Ira, took a deep breath and slowed my rapidly beating heart – that was intense! Jack was firing the rifles again. I looked up and could see he took over Mira and Ira's job of shooting up the Humvee (some guys have all the fun). Oh well, it was time to get the twins up to my Frankentruck, but it was just a shame I couldn't let them see her.

I tossed Ira over one shoulder, picked up my homemade stun gun and walked over to Mira, she was finally waking up. I disguised my voice, "We have captured you and your sister. If you resist your sister will be killed."

I tossed Mira over my other shoulder and slowly trudged up the sand dune – damn this was hard fucking work...

Flashback – Mira – Undisclosed location

My cranium pounded, my contractile organs of my body ached and my derriere was on fire! I was not sure what evil weapon was used on my posterior but the illegitimate-son that inflicted the injury would be tortured interminably when I escaped.

When he roughly tossed me transverse his scapula I could sense my sister Ira was on his opposite scapula. I let out a moan to see if Ira would respond, the female-saluki captor scolded, "Stay quiet unless you want to be shocked again."

I was shocked because my auditory units detected rifle fire. I had assumed the harlequins and Baskerville captured us, but if that was the case why would they be firing at Malodorous Major M?

I could tell our captor was in wonderful physical condition, but he still struggled to carry us both up the face of the dune. He stopped, adjusted his burden, then proceeded at a quicker pace. I determined he abandoned my sister so I moaned in complaint and he replied, "Mira, I said silence, your sister is unconscious and will be fine until I take care of you."

This was most strange! How did our captor know I was Mira?

Flashback – Ben – Undisclosed location

Shit, I made a mistake and called her Mira! Damn, now she might figure out who we were before I wanted her to know. I made good time with only Mira on my shoulder, got to the top, motioned for Jack to stay quiet, put Mira in the shade of the truck and hooked a cable around her thumb cuffs so she couldn't roll anywhere. I motioned Jack to the side, when we were sure we couldn't be heard I said, "Okay Jack that was my plan, the only thing we need to do is grab all their gear. Now how do you want to proceed with your plan?"

Jack looked at me, described his plan and I agreed, "Yeah I like that, sort of like killing two birds with one stone. And we know which direction they will head so it's not like we're going to lose them. I'm going to grab Ira. Now remember we have to keep the two of them from touching because they probably have some way to communicate."

Jack went back to shooting up the disabled Humvee and I headed back for Ira. When I got there she was awake and had rolled half way down the damn dune. She became motionless when I approached and I stated...
