Author's note: This is to be a series of short stories centered around two main characters. Becky and William, her father. It is a story about a woman who for numerous reasons as I'll later explain, has been sheltered by an overbearing mother, and a father who allowed it to occur and who allowed himself to be equally bullied by his wife. The mother dies, the daughter having reached the legal age of consent and maturity, embarks on a journey of self-discovery no longer shackled with restraints, nor fearing her father's disapproval either. There is resentment towards him for his lack of support and the torment she felt she emotionally received, even though William didn't directly participate, or have much say in her upbringing.
It is my hope as these short stories evolve, that you'll enjoy them and let me know what you think as I continue on with an ongoing series of these, purposely touching on several of the differing genre's as the story enfolds. As always, your feedback, comments and votes are always appreciated.
