Epilogue
Two Years Later.
It was the most nervous I had ever been in my life, sweat was running down my forehead, I almost had the shakes, I had all the people with me that I would want in a fight, the people that would always have my back. Josh was beside me, having just walked down the isle with Sharon, I watched her partner walking down the Isle with Lillian, he was whispering something in her ear, I raised an eyebrow at that.
"Relax Idin, it will be quick and painless." Merlin whispered
Merlin was dressed in his full wizards regalia, I hadn't seen him dressed like this in 600 years, it was the same gear he had worn into battle, he told me people would see him as a priest, that was the glamor he was using.
"Ive heard you say that before." I say back to him.
The beach was lit with torches, two tents were set up behind all the chairs, the guest included several of the Daughters, even a few of the Sons of Enoch and Cain, all the people from my office, and some of Sharon's fellow cops, oh and of course Jennifer's family.
Sharon, Lillian, Mary, and two of Jennifer's school friends served as her brides Maid, Sharon was her Maid of honor, I had Josh and several people from the office as my grooms men. I nodded briefly to Merlins Daughter who was crying in the audience, she simple smiled at me and blew her nose.
Than the march started, and out came Jennifer in all her glory, she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, her dad marched at her side. Over the last two years we had courted each other like a normal couple, dating, meeting her parents. Jennifer had insisted on finishing school, I had helped her with some of her more interesting papers, even taking her to find relics to back them up. They were taking the archeological world by storm, she was a rising star, already being offered professorships at several universities.
