AP- Jun 22--RCMP officials today announced the discovery of the body of a male, as yet unidentified, in a wooded area of Willmore Wilderness Area. As yet, no connection has been made between this discovery and the ongoing search for a missing teenager from Calgary. RCMP officials discovered the body after locating a campsite about five miles into the wilderness area. Numerous personal effects were found scattered around the site, suggesting a struggle had possibly taken place there. Police officials, after monitoring the location for two days, began an organized search of the surroundings. The body was found early this morning, approximately one mile from the camp site.
AP- Jun 24--RCMP officials today announced the discovery of a campsite that apparently belonged to missing teenager Emma Falsey. Ms Falsey was reported missing by her family after failing to return from a short camping trip. The campsite appears to have been destroyed by high winds or a heavy rain as many small personal belongings, reportedly belonging to Ms. Falsey were found scattered in a waterway downstream from her campsite. Officials had announced yesterday that her car had been located and came across the beaten down campsite after following a meager trail in from the carpark.
AP- Jun 25--In the continuing investigation of missing persons, RCMP officials announced discovery of the personal effects of a missing teen at the campsite of a young man whose body was found about a mile from it. Officials had no comment as to why the girl's belongings would have been at the young man's campsite. There is no record of them knowing each other, and their age differences and location of their residences suggest that they did not. The young man, it was announced today, had been shot in the head, execution style. There are no signs of the missing girl. RCMP and the girl's family are organizing a search for this weekend and have asked volunteers interested to meet at the RCMP station in Hinton, or telephone in advance to register.
