Stephanie had slept quite well that night. She was down for breakfast early Saturday morning, bright and cheery, and in a better mood than she had been in weeks. Everyone noticed the change.

"My! My!" her mother commented. "Someone is in good spirits this morning. What's the occasion?"

"Nothing special, Mom. I just slept well last night and really feel pretty good this morning."

"How's this new boy you've been dating?"

"He's fine, Mom. It was only our first date. He's smart, good looking and he treats me well. We're going out again tonight. He's taking me to dinner someplace."

"Well, I 'm just glad you're not sitting at home pining away for your soldier."

Stephanie's father mumbled, "There's nothing wrong with being a soldier. It's a man's duty."

"But there's no point in her sitting home her entire senior year in high school because her boyfriend decided to join the army." Stephanie's mother was determined about this.

John Meyers went to play golf with his business buddies after breakfast. Melody and the girls decided to do some shopping at the mall in the nearest city. They returned in just enough time for Stephanie to get ready for her dinner date. When Tyler knocked on their door, he was wearing a suit and tie and looked quite distinguished, and several years older than his nineteen years.

They enjoyed a quiet dinner at one of the upscale restaurants in a resort complex about fifty miles from Stillwater. Stephanie had never been there before. Actually, she had never even heard of it, and was very impressed that Tyler not only knew of the restaurant, but that he knew many of the wait staff by name. When he ordered a bottle of wine, there was no question about his age, and the waiter brought it to their table immediately. They enjoyed a very leisurely dinner which was complemented by the wine, then a delicious desert, with another bottle of wine which just happened to be going to Stephanie's head. After dinner, when she stood up, Tyler had to support her, and then assist her as she walked from the restaurant. Passing through the lobby of the resort, Tyler guided her directly to a room on the first floor. Stephanie's thought process was more than a bit blurry, and thus, she found going into a motel room with a guy on a second date to just be a very natural outcome of the enjoyment of a beautiful dinner.

Tyler locked the door and helped her to the side of the bed. Without delay, he reached behind her and began unzipping her dress, which she allowed to fall to the floor. Like a gentleman, he helped her step out of it and he immediately picked it up and placed it carefully over the back of a desk chair in the room. Her slip was next, but she had that mostly off before he had dealt with the dress. Her bra and panties were next to come off, and Stephanie stood naked by the edge of the bed, waiting for instruction from Tyler. Quickly, Tyler undressed and rejoined Stephanie.
