Jamie and Jordan were cuddling in bed after sex when there was a knock on the door.
“Just a second,” Jamie called out, and she sprang out of bed, hopped into a pair of comfy pants, and answered the door, while Jordan pulled the bedcovers over herself.
“I can’t believe you didn’t put on a top,” Jordan said. “What was that about anyway?”
“Complimentary cookies,” Jamie said. “Chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Do you have a preference?”
“I like them both,” Jordan said.
“Me too,” Jamie said. “So we can share.”
After the cookies had been devoured and some chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin kisses exchanged, Jordan said, “Was it that old desk clerk guy?”
Jamie grinned and shook her head.
“Or that cute girl, the tall one, that we were talking to in the lobby?”
“She was pretty interesting,” Jamie said. “Do you think I should have invited her in? Even though there were only two cookies.”
