Chapter 29
The orthopedic doctors flew out on a helicopter as we watched the alarm sounded warning us that someone had crossed into my property to the south. A computer generated voice could be heard saying strong winds from the south. It would have said northeast or west whatever direction unauthorized movement was coming from. We all moved to the observation room and began prepping for our uninvited guests to arrive.
Bee and Dee took their seats and began to look for our guests. Dee was using our electric ears to listen for the intruders and Bee was checking our hidden cameras looking for them. Tammy began setting up a Trauma area in case one of us got injured. Marcus Annabelle Wendy Brandi and Sandra were helping her.
The satellite phone rang and Mr. Black quickly said to open a web link to a specific site. It was a link to the video feed coming from a UAV he had flying over my ranch keeping a lookout. I thanked him as Bee zoomed in on the intruders. Mr. Black said we had 15 minutes left on this UAV but another was on its way which would have 2 hours and was 5 to 7 minutes away. He could not get them armed so we would have to deal with them rather than having Mr. Black just shooting them with the UAV. He ended the call saying he would be here in 30 to 40 minutes with an eight man QRF. Bee had zoomed in on the intruders letting us see how they were equipped. I was shocked to see there were three five man teams moving like professionals; each was armed with what looked like M203s. they were kitted out, the four ammo pouches carry 3 magazines each giving them twelve 30-round magazines with two 4-round pouches for the 203 grenade launchers and had automatics on each thigh. The one group was moving to the east as another moved to the west leaving the third group continuing straight at us.
Dove Jen Amanda Yoshi Jeff Rich and I got kitted out ourselves. Suppressed MP5 with four 30 round magazines for close quarter shooting; suppressed automatics with four 15 round magazines as backup. After talking with Mr. Black and seeing what was coming we each quickly picked up a 338 Lapua which is a ten round magazine fed sniper rifles call "BadNews". It didn't matter if they heard these boys fire they would feel the bullet first. Grabbing coms we moved to the roof to give us elevation to shoot.
Bee had them just over a mile away and still breaking into three groups. They were just over 1600 meters and their 203 was maxed out at 400 meters, however the assault rifle it was attached to had a maximum effective range of 800 meters but could shoot 3600 meters with a blind luck shot. We could drive nails at 1370 meters but we would start shooting at 1300 meters. Our best shooters were Jeff Rich Dove Amanda and I; so Jeff and Dove would take the west group, Rich and Amanda would take the east group, Yoshi Jen and I would take the group coming straight at us. Whoever finished all their targets first would help whoever needed it. I was betting we all would take care of our own targets. The only real question was who would get the third target to the east and west and who would get two targets in my group.
Marcus brought up a valid point when he asked why we were just going to kill these guys without finding out if they were good guys sent to protect us or indeed as it seemed bad guys out to kill us.
Dee picked up their radio frequency and we heard them talking. Dee Jeff and Rich all said "that is Turkish" at the same time. Dee translated 'Boran Tolga wait for my team to fire then attack, remember these infidel's are very dangerous!'
