Along the way he finds two students to pass his genes along, that and his dreams too. This is not a stroke story, sex happens as in life. But it is not the focus of this story. Episode 4 in the FTL Universe.

Authors Notes: This is a totally re-written and expanded version of the original story, "FTL". It has been re-titled as "The Beginning", for the simple reason that it is the original story that started the FTL series. Please enjoy this expanded and refined work.
