Arrian walked into his room after a particular long and grueling day. First, the school bully threatened his sister and new friend Samantha. After he quickly fixed that problem, he kissed his mother, not deeply, but a kiss none the less. While the kiss excited Arrian to no end, he was deeply disturbed.
How could I kiss my own mother!
Samurai, you must focus, we have much to discuss.
Arrian changed his clothes, putting on a plain white t-shirt and sweatpants. Then he sat on the floor in typical indian fashion. Slowly clearing his mind, he extended his hands and his murumasa slowly rose from its place on his dresser and into his hands.
Your focus is getting better, you may be ready for other skills.
While that would normally be a priority, right now I'm worried about what you mentioned of my family.
Yes, I see how that is more important. Sadly, you may not like what I have to tell you, warrior.
That is something I will deal with at a latter time, my family comes first.
In order for things to be very clear to you, I will transport your mind into a higher dimension empty of everything only you and I shall be present.
Just hurry will you, the longer we take the more nervous I get.
Fujin, began reverberating slightly. A feint green glow began surrounding Arrian.
I feel strange Fujin.
Arrian was no longer glowing, all around him empty space. Arrian sat-up, looking somewhat rattled.
Where am I? Fujin?
Looking around he couldn't see anything that empty black space. Arrian's eyes opened wider in shock, there in the darkness, a huge shadow, darker than the emptiness. Arrian attempted to grip his sword, when he realized, it wasn't there. As the shadow grew closer, it became bigger and bigger.
Oh fuck! that thing is huge! Where the hell are you Fujin?
Walking towards you, my samurai.
Arrian was frozen in place as the huge shadow became more visible. By Arrian's estimation it had to be nine feet high, weighed well over six-hundred pounds, all muscle.
To Arrian it resembled a green ogre with short horns, and carried a sword in its hand: the sword was five feet long, 3 feet wide, simply enormous: a perfect match for the giant creature.
Easy my samurai, it is just me, Fujin.
Fujin! You're huge!
"Use your voice samurai, here we can verbally communicate." said the god.
Fujin's deep tone made Arrian's skin crawl. He walked closer to the god and began to bow, when a giant hand stopped him.
"No need for that, you and I are bonded since your blood covered my sword." said Fujin.
"You're the biggest being I've ever seen, you make dad look like a midget!" he said awe struck.
"We must converse seriously warrior, your mother is in dire pain." he said calmly.
"What do you mean?" came Arrian's hastened reply.
"She is... nearing the state of total depression," in a subdued manner he continued "losing her spouse has devastated her, if not for you and your sister, she would have killed herself long ago."
"Shit! Tell me what can I do to make sure she is okay, I'll do anything." he said, his eyes slightly misting.
"You... may have to fill your father's role... in your mother's life." said Fujin.
What do you mean by 'fill your father's role'?" he asked.
"You have to be your mother's companion, her friend and... lover" was Fujin's reply.
Arrian's face became a ghostly white. His mouth felt completely dry.
"I... can't... do that." Arrian mumbled.
"Warrior, she is female, beautiful and desires you, what more do you need?" answered the god.
Arrian was shocked to the core, he was being told he had to have sex with his mother. To be his mother's man.
"If you need peace of mind, assurance that this is the right thing, then I can provide that."
"How? what can you say that makes it okay for me to... to... do that?" said an uneasy Arrian.
"I won't say anything, but there is someone who can put your mind at ease."
"Oh yeah, who? Moses?" he replied, sarcasm dripping in his words.
Behind Fujin, Arrian saw another shadow forming. This shadow was smaller, almost Arrian's size. The figure walked closer and closer. Arrian turned pale, completely void of emotion as he saw the figure clearly. It was Derek Michaels.
"What I don't get a hug?" said a smiling Derek.
Arrian was too shocked to move. His gaze was fixed on his father's ghost? spirit? He couldn't move, when his father stepped forward and hugged him. Arrian's pent up emotions broke out. His tears fell from his eyes.
"I'm so... sor... sorry... It... it... was... my fault!" he mumbled between sobs.
Derek looked at his son, he looked straight at Arrian's eyes.
"It was not your fault, what happened was something that was meant to happen." Derek said giving his son a reassuring smile.
"I knew you were very special, the moment you were born. I knew that you would take care of your mother, if anything happened to me, later when your sister was born, I knew you would care for her too."
"But, I'm not you dad!" Arrian said exasperated.
"Nor should you want to be me, Arrian, YOU will be more important to this world that you know, you have the ability to protect our family, if I had lived and you had died, our family would have deteriorated and mostly likely failed. With you, our family is assured a future, as long as you are willing to let go of things you think I would frown on." he said in a commanding yet, caring tone.
"Arrian, I no longer affect your world, you do. I know what Fujin, has asked of you. I could not agree with him more, your mother needs you, she draws a lot from you, even if you don't know it." he said placing his hand on Arrian's shoulder.
"I know why you kissed your mother." he said chuckling.
Arrian turned a bright shade of red.
"I... I... I... don't... know why I..." he said never looking his dad in the eye.
"Its okay son, you're in love with your mother. She's been in love with you since you were born." he said still smiling.
"Arrian, you are by no means normal. Certain of societies rules will not apply to you, but you must always remember what I taught you is right, let that be your guide. Take things slow with Helen, make her feel loved, desired and don't worry about me. Helen trusts you, and I know you would never hurt her." he said a tear falling from his right eye.
"Dad, I..." Arrian attempted to say.
Derek stopped his son's mumbling. Looking back at Fujin, who merely nodded at him. Looking back at his son.
"Arrian, I'm out of time... please do everything you can to help your mother. I know you want to. If its my permission you seek, rest assured you have it." he said giving him a hug.
Arrian hugged his father, finally able to say goodbye the way he wished he was able to the first time. Finally, after what seemed hours, they separated.
"Arrian, your mother isn't the only one, who needs you. Kailynn is feeling the same need, but to a lesser extent: For now that is." he said walking back toward Fujin.
Arrian looked at his father one last time. He smiled, feeling something that resembled peace. Derek looked at his son with pride, he nodded. Fujin, looked at Arrian, before looking down at Derek and nodding. Arrian watched as they began fading, the color scheme began shifting from pitch black to the white walls that composed his room. He saw himself sitting, on the floor, still holding the sword.
Arrian opened his eyes. His feeling of peace regarding his dad, were still intact. He focused his mind on his mother. He accepted that Fujin, and his father, were telling him the truth. His question now was: How?
Glancing at his clock he saw it was roughly eight p.m. Shocked that it had been 3 hours since he walked into his room. He could here his sister talking animately
She's on the phone.
A feeling suddenly crossed him. A slight sense of arousal and it was coming from... his sister's room. Another feeling was creeping in, a sense of loneliness, sadness, no doubt this was coming from his mother: no, it was coming from Helen.
