In the Border States, illegal immigration is a big issue that divides communities. While many people protest to try to get politicians involved, others take aggressive action.

There is the well-publicized group known as the minutemen, these citizens actively patrol the borders and assist the border patrol in keeping illegals from sneaking into the country.

There also exist several more radical groups that take action on those who have snuck into the country successfully. One such group patrols the area just outside of San Diego. These men, usually 10-15 in number, seek out and intimidate those who have come across the border and have taken up residence and jobs here in America.

The intimidation takes many forms, usually the large number of men, a show of a gun and stern words are fairly effective. Sometimes things get a bit rougher, this is about one of those times.

The group was unnamed, but was known through the immigrant community as the Midnight Gang, since they largely confronted people late at night.

This day, the group had heard of a family that snuck across several months back from Tijuana. The parents worked in a warehouse, which was run by a crooked owner who always hired illegals.
