Author's Note: I like to have stories pretty well outlined before rushing to upload the early chapters, but I found myself well into the body of this one and confronting a creative wall. There was a turning point in the story and I didn't have any good ideas about where to take the turn. My (sometimes) editor and (all-times) consultant and confidant, Jacques Noir, made some key suggestions that got the story going again. He really helped, and I think it turned out pretty good.
