Chapter 14: Sixth Friday

Mike parents were not going out this Friday so Kelli was not coming over; Mike was somewhat depressed as a result. He was lying on his bed reading, thinking what to do when the phone rang. He was lying wondering if one of his pals was calling when his mother called up, 'Mike, phone call for you, sounds like a girl, the caller said just tell him its angel one, have you been keeping a girlfriend secret from us, ' her voice a barely suppressed laugh.

'Thanks a lot mum, I'll take it up here, can you transfer it please, ' thinking she is closer to the truth than she thinks.

'Hello angel one, sorry we cannot be together today. Will you be all right; it is the first week since it when we haven't spent time together.'

'Well it is less fun just talking on the phone but at least this is better than nothing, just hearing your voice is a big tonic, ' she said.

'Since you've got a free Friday night what have you got planned, a quiet night in talking to a friend by phone or are you meeting up with your friends and going out somewhere?'

'A bit of both actually, I am talking to a friend right now, he is also my boyfriend, my savior, my lover and my husband, and he just needs get old enough for us to make if public. Love you.'

She continued, 'anyway, I am just waiting for the others to arrive, when I told Becky I would not be going out tonight she called the others so that I would not be left alone, they still worry about me.'

'They are true friends, just don't spend too much time talking about me, I don't want to spend our next meeting trying to live up to four beautiful lovers expectations when I was not even there, ' he laughed.

'You goofball, of course we will talk about you, all night probably. Four girls that have all made love to you, what else would they talk about? We normally talk about the latest hunk about or failing that how the last date we had went, this time we all have the same date to talk about, and it was the most awesome date any of us have had. You will just have to live with it.'

At that, he could hear voices in the background getting louder. The voices interrupted Kelli, greeting her and one asked, 'talking to Mike?'

Mike heard Kelli answer affirmatively and there was the sound of a fight over who had hold of the phone. There was then a very confused babble of voices, all trying to talk to him. In the end, it became quiet again and Kelli's voice came back on the phone, 'sorry about that it seems there are a number of visitors here who would like to speak to you but they cannot agree who goes first.'

Mike asked, 'does you phone have hands free capability, darling.'

'Hold on, yes it does, here you go.'

'Hello angels, nice to hear you all.'

There was another babble of voices and Mike called out, 'calm down, no need to fight over me, I'm not there. It is great to hear you all, and thank you for making sure Kelli is still ok. I told her not to spend all the time with you talking about me, but she said that of course you would. Please try and enjoy yourselves without becoming obsessed about me.'

'Hard luck Mike, after last week you think we haven't been thinking about you continuously, it's a good job there were four of us there so we can talk to each other about you. Otherwise, we would have been telling everyone about the amazing stud we had met.'

'Be careful, angels, don't get yourselves in trouble. I know we all agree age does not matter but if you make it public you risk trouble and that would hurt Kelli badly.'

His words calmed the babble at the other end, and Kelli said, 'well that stopped the babble, ok Mike talk to you soon, love you.'

The others called, 'love you too.'

Mike put the phone down, still amazed he had gone from wishing he could talk to girls to having four eighteen year old cheerleaders all telling him they loved him in only a few weeks. How could anyone be that lucky?
