Immediate Family

Daniel Rhoderic (Dan) - Ex-soldier, Colonel, U.S. Army Reserves, former Ranger, former member of Special Forces, former member of Delta Force, known by fellow counter-terrorism professionals as 'Sneak'; college professor, Historian and researcher; 50 years of age; originally from Florida, living in North Georgia.

Donald A. Nichols (Don) — as of the year 2009 he was a 15 year old high school student, a rising Sophomore, likely-to-be starting varsity football quarterback; victim of a hit and run driver with significant head injuries; living with his family in Danielville, N.C.; also - a young man absent a mind.

Dan & Don - the body of Don as occupied by the mind of Dan; an experienced man placed in the body of a well-endowed 15 year old; involuntarily thrown into the Naked In School (NIS) program ("The Program").

Henry Nichols - Don's father; ex-agent of the DEA; seconded to the CIA; now with his brother they operate a security training company; as Don's body clears out the drugs he'd been administered during his recovery, then Dan recognizes Don's father from his prior service.

Gwen Nichols - Don's stepmother, mother of Don's two step-sisters and also his two half-sisters; she works along with Henry in the family business.

Janice Thomas - Gwen's eldest daughter by her first marriage; Janice is two years older than Don. But, due to a childhood illness - she's only one grade ahead of Don and is a rising Junior. Jan's father was a black college football player with whom a white Gwen Michaels fell in love and married. The marriage fell apart quickly. He currently lives in the Detroit area with his second, younger family.

Susie 'Michaels' Waters - Gwen's daughter from an affair she had between her two marriages. Susie is a few months older than Don and has attended school with him since they both entered pre-school at age three. While officially listed on records with the surname Michaels, she prefers to use her paternal grandmother's name of Waters.

Terri Nichols - twin sister of Traci; one of Don's two younger twin half-sisters; an 11 year old pubescent girl who adores her half-brother Don.

Matthew 'Matt' Jennings — Don's Uncle Matt; the younger brother of Don's mother Diane Jennings Nichols; an idealistic and popular attorney in a powerfully connected Raleigh law firm.


Lester Thomas — Janice's uncle, brother of her absent father; father of Jan's two closest first cousins; Captain, Morgan County Sheriff's Office (SO); leader of the local multi-jurisdictional SWAT team.

Martha Thomas — Lester's wife; mother of Jan's two closest first cousins; a Registered Nurse in the local hospital.

Leroy Thomas — son and oldest child of Lester & Martha; a senior and football player; first cousin to Don's step-sister Janice; an older friend of Don; thrown into the NIS program.

Tasha Thomas — daughter and youngest child of Lester & Martha; a sophomore and classmate of Don's, she is over a year younger than Don; a seeming child with genius potential, she has been advanced one year in school; the seeming child was the last lover of Don prior to his accident.

Mr. George Thomas — Jan's grandfather; Ella's husband; an ex-Marine.


Mrs. Hazel Waters — Susie's grandmother; mother of Susie's biological father Andrew Waters.

Gloria Waters — Susie's aunt; the sister of Susie's biological father who'd rather not know her brother.
