Chapter 10

Estragon stood in a bright white robe. He looked like Father Time, although far wiser and older. "The Triad is joined. The training will begin." Long years had passed and Salban had ruled unchecked on planet Earth since the world was changed. The stage being set to bring another change to the planet, this time, for the betterment of mankind. The Malinarri blood was strong in the three youth carrying the medals of old. Each had control of their darker urges and a staggering capacity for good. The time was right.

The void around him began to swirl with dazzling mixtures of red, yellow, and blue. The colors separated and formed a beam of light that was focused down on the three Keepers. Red light washed over Marian, yellow surrounded Joy, and a brilliant blue flooded the area around Jack.

"Welcome! Please come closed and sit with me. Jack and Marian I would like you to meet Beverly Joy Miller. She has the third disk and tonight she completed the Triad." Estragon waved his hand and a circle of three chairs appeared in a well-lit room. Suddenly Joy gave a startled yelp. She was vainly trying to cover herself with her arms and hands.

"I think you better explain the clothes problem to Joy. I don't think she is comfortable in the buff." Marian laughed as she sat down in the chair.

Jack grinned, as he looked Joy over. "You are very beautiful Joy. You'll get used it."

"Where am I?" Joy asked the old man.

"Well, you are asleep in bed, Estragon answered.

Joy began to relax and lowered her arms to her sides. "You mean this is a dream."

"Yes, you are dreaming, however, so are Marian and Jack. I guess you could call this a shared dream." Estragon said.

Joy walked over and sat down. She looked at Jack and said, "I can't believe you're sitting here with two naked girls and you're not aroused."

Jack looked at her for a moment and then asked. "Are you aroused?"

"No," she answered, "Although I guess I should be."

"Don't worry, after Estragon leaves we'll be back to normal," Jack said.

Estragon started talking. "It is time for your training to begin. Jack I need you to confront Bobby again. If he continues on his present course he will become a laughing-stock. I think another visit from the God of Blue Fire will redirect his energy."

"He has converted half the football team to a philosophy of non-violence. I don't think we will win any championships this year." Jack laughed as he talked. "I watched them during their last practice and I believe the coach was crying when he sent them to the showers." Jack thought for a moment then asked. "How can I visit him and not let him know it's me? I mean that's how we got into this mess in the first place."

"I'm glad you asked, because that is going to be my first lesson." Estragon closed his eyes and concentrated. After a few seconds a white shining spirit like form started floating above his still body. "You have the power to do this and I think you will find it useful. You can also concentrate on letting the light pass through and you will be invisible to normal eyesight." The floating form disappeared. "Now, you try it. Concentrate on separating from your bodies. Clear your minds and visualize yourself floating above your body."

Quickly a shining yellow being was floating about ten feet above the floor. "This is neat." Joy said. Her voice had a melodious sound to it. "I wish I could do this when I'm not asleep. Come on guys, it's not hard. Just concentrate and clear your mind."

A blue haze formed around Jack and soon he was hovering close to Joy. Marian was having trouble. Estragon came close to her. "Here, take my hand. I can help you if you want". She reached up and touched the glowing figure's outstretched hand. A bright light flashed in her mind and she knew what to do. She closed her eyes and a few seconds later she was floating beside the other two keepers chatting happily.

"Try to make your self invisible," Estragon directed.

The three heard Estragon. They had forgotten he was there and were surprised when they heard him speak. They looked around but didn't see him.
