As our voices screamed into the phone, David was insistent.
I knew that the stress David was in, over this girl being pregnant, consumed him.
I asked Amy, "Is it OK?"
She replied, "Yes, Dear."
I said to David, "OK. Come on over, and you better pick up something for us to eat."
He said, "What do you ladies be wanting?"
I replied, "Amy wants a cheeseburger, from 'Miami Subs', with fries. I want a Gyro."
David said, "No problem. I am around the corner."
"Aren't you always?" I replied.
David laughed.
"I be there in ten minutes."
"Seeya," I said.
Amy and I held and kiss for a moment.
"We'd better get dressed," I said.
"Mmm. I don't want to. Would you make me some coffee?"
"If you be getting dressed, I will," I replied.
She grinned, and drew my near to her.
She placed my hand in her most delicate of places.
She moaned. I submitted to her wishes.
David finally arrived. Thank God the line at 'Miami Subs', was long.
I was half dressed at the time of his arrival.
He opened the door, just as I was getting my pants on.
Amy always took her time getting dressed.
David was hungry also. He had plenty to say. He had talked to Sean.
Melissa (the women in question) had been with many men.
"What do want to do?" I asked David.
He said, "I offered her money for an abortion."
Amy and I winced. This we did not want to hear. Neither Amy nor I could have children. We both adored kids; and, we both knew the work that children created.
Amy slapped David face.
David was in shock.
I just said "That's my woman!"
David knew I was upset with his ideas of abortion.
"You play, you pay!" I said.
David left the house, steaming.
