She seems to drift away in thought, looking at a far away wall a tear rolled down her face.

"Sorry did I say something wrong?"

"No, you can call me Angel. You kind of remind me of my Dad, he's always my protector." A thin smile formed on her face.

"I'll will be your protector from now on," I said as I pulled her for a hug

"I know! I can maybe cook and clean around here" she ask, looking at me with her big round eyes

"You don't have to do anything"

"Yes but I want to. It might not be like those big restaurants you're used to but I used to cook for my family once and they say I'm good" she insisted.

"Alright I'll talk to her later." I surrendered holding my hands over my head.

"Ok maybe I'll start by making dinner."

Angel left for the kitchen before I've even have the chance to say yes. Well I guess it beats ordering in. even dining out gets boring after a couple months. I don't know but I've always liked home cook meals. Maybe it's the love you put to it when you know your cooking it for your family like our Mom used to do.

I was reminiscing about Mom's home cook meal when Aunt Liz came down wearing her nightgown under a small bathrobe.

"Um, Will about Angelica staying here..." she begins to say when I interrupted her.

"I know its unusual just taking somebody in like that but what about if she do something. She could like cook and maybe clean a little." I explained.

"Well if you put it that way maybe she could stay. Could she really cook or like YOU cook."

"She says she can cook but mostly simple dishes."

Then the door opened and out came my sister.

"Why don't we try Anchovy pizza. It's the only one we haven't tried." She said as she plops down the chair near the phone. She then started looking for the number of the pizza place.

"Don't worry Sis we're eating a home cook meal." I said with a grin in my face.

"Oh, no way. I'll go for anchovy pizza any day than one of your cooking." She said as she holds the headset of the phone at me, brandishing it like a weapon.

"Don't worry. We have someone that knows how to cook. She could also clean around the house and stuff just so she have a place to stay." I explained.

A faint smell of spaghetti sauce reached our noses, causing our focus to shift to the direction of the kitchen. As if in a trance we all walk to the kitchen and there on the table is a large plate of spaghetti and some garlic bread too. We each took our seats and started to dig in. I momentarily stopped eating to motion for Angel to join us. All of us ate to our fill, well all of us except Angel. She is too amused watching us gorged ourselves.

Finishing our meal we pushed back to our chair and thank Angel for the wonderful meal. Alex introduced herself and everything went great. She is now a part of the family, well a part of the family in a small way but still part of the family. She stood up and took the dishes to the dishwasher. I opted to help but she refuses and shooed me away from the kitchen.

Alex and Aunt Liz went straight to their rooms while I watch the news. Angel finished storing away the dishes and joined me in the couch. She snuggled to my chest and I hug her to me.

After the news I turn off the TV and led her to one of the guestrooms. I showed her the cabinets and the bathroom. Each room of Aunt Liz' house has its own bathroom. Now I know that if anyone tries to kidnap me while walking to or from school again, I'm prepared but to make sure I ask Aunt Liz for a car. She wants to give me my own car before but I refused, I just like to walk even if she could afford 10 cars for me.

It was Saturday and Angel and I are in a secluded park. I was practicing with my ice sword, a couple of thrust and swings. I saw some sword fighting manuals in the Internet and tried to learn them. Angel helps when I slip and injure myself but everytime she finishes healing me I would grab her and have some other kind of EXERCISE.

I feel like I'm in a horror movie cause now in front are two skeletons. It even had the tattered remains of their clothes. I readied my self, brandishing my ice sword like I know how to use it, well I know a little of how to use it but they don't know that. I've also moved Angel to stand behind a tree. I covered the move with the sword as I aim the tip from one skeleton to the other. One skeleton lunged at me but I quickly sidestep it and slashed it's head off from behind as it pass me making it collapse in a pile of bone. The second skeleton tackled me, knocking me to the ground. I rolled with it and placed my feet to its pelvic bone and kicked making it land far away from me. It quickly got up charged at me but I'm prepared. A full swing of my sword while I was kneeling, splits the vertebrae near the middle making it broke down to pieces as well. Some of the bones hit me before it fell to the ground but it didn't hurt me at all.
