Also, this story is the first in a Trilogy I have entitled In the Beginning, and the first in a much larger, longer epic that will span almost all of Greek Mythology and beyond.

While inspired by various mythological sources and contemporary works such as God of War, Percy Jackson, Lore Olympus, Hades, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Good Times: Hercules, and more, this work is a product of the author’s imagination.

Any similarities to real-life events, persons, or existing works are purely coincidental.

The author acknowledges the influence of Hesiod’s Theogony and The Library by Apollodorus, among other mythological texts, but significant alterations have been made to suit the narrative direction. Quotations from these and other works are included for thematic purposes and homage, and no infringement of copyright is intended.

This story is primarily the creation of the author, with assistance from proofreaders and an editor.
