Chapter 9: The Partnership Develops

At lunchtime, Milly walked down the school fields with Luca.

“Milly” Luca said, “Marco offered to let me have a copy of the App he uses to keep track of his girls’ available times and their client dates and feedback. He said it was adapted from an App used by a Physio practice. It also keeps info on client’s likes and dislikes etc. I was thinking I could be responsible for bookings, and you could keep the girls’ info updated. You’re the computer wiz, so could you take a look and set it up on both our phones. He says the data is kept in a secure shared folder on the web.”

“Great idea!” Milly replied, “especially if the girls can have limited access to just their calendars”.

“This is going to make you even busier and we hardly have time to see each other as it is, so I was thinking of recruiting another guy to drive the girls and get you to limit the clients you see” Luca explained. “What do you think?”

“Well, it is getting tiring and I miss being with you, so yes” Milly replied.

“I know you would make less money seeing clients and, with your introductory commission, our finances are too complicated to keep track of anyway. So how about we make it a proper partnership and we pool all our income, except your tips and split it in half?” he suggested.

“I’d really like us to be full partners Luca, but my tips get shared too, OK?”

“OK” he smiled, “and would you handle all the money and keep track of our finances?”

“Sure! I’ll start off with a spreadsheet and maybe get a P&L App”.

“What do you want to do tonight? Disco, a meal, cinema or whatever you want?” Luca asked.

“Are your parents going out tonight?”

“Yes, they’ll be out until at least midnight, what are you thinking of?” he grinned, guessing what she had in mind.

“I was thinking I could come around earlier, and we could look at your brother’s App” she suggested, “then we could cuddle up in the lounge and watch a chic-flic.”

“OK” he laughed, “so long as it’s a sexy one.”

“Then we could decide later what we wanted to do after” she teased.

“Could you stay the night?” Luca asked.

“I can say I’m staying at Charley’s” Milly grinned, “But what about your parents?”

“My bedroom is right at the other side of the house, it has an ensuite, so if I sneak you out in the morning, they’ll never know!”

“That’s just so bad! Fucking my boyfriend in his bed with his parents just along the corridor! Yes!” Milly exclaimed.

In the afternoon, Luca picked her up with her laptop and took her to his very large house. He introduced her to his parents who Milly took an instant liking to. They made her very welcome and laughed when Luca told them they were going up to his bedroom to work on a computer project.

No sooner had they walked into his bedroom than he received a text.

“Oh shit!” he exclaimed. “Mr Green says his wife has just decided to go out with her girlfriends and he wants a couple of hours with a sexy girl at 6.”

“See if Sandy can do it” Milly suggested.

“But I’d have to drive her and leave you on your own” he replied.

“We could swap our plans around and watch a movie earlier. I could look at your brother’s App while you’re out, then we carry on when you get back.” Milly suggested.

“If you’re OK with that, I’ll see if she’s available” he replied.

She was, so he booked the hotel and confirmed with Mr. Green.

“All set and I can pick up some food from the restaurant on the way back if you can wait until 8:30”

“I can, if you leave me some snacks while you’re out.” she replied.

The rest of the afternoon and evening went as planned. Luca’s older brother Marco helped Milly download the server program to her laptop and the App to her iPhone and then set up the shared folder in the cloud with the initial files. She entered all the data on the girls and the clients she knew.
