Lesbianism was still illegal – that made what they were doing all the more exciting and arousing for Lindy.

And the illicit thrill was also a ‘turn on’ for Susie as she headed with Lindy to ‘The Crazy Horse’ Strip Club.

The twenty-five-year-old blonde had joined the Victoria Police on a whim. Divorced, Susie was now almost obsessed with Lindy. Often a little too self-assured and outspoken for her own good, Suzanne Elizabeth Raynor had already fallen foul of the newly-appointed ‘Officer in Charge’ of the Melbourne District ‘Traffic and Patrol’ Division – she had been threatened with Disciplinary Action by Senior Sergeant Monica Draper like many of the other young ‘City Traffic’ policewomen.

She was another of Sergeant Tess Gallagher’s personal harem too.

And that had certain benefits for ‘Probationary’ Constable Susie Raynor

With the recent 1977 Equal Opportunities Act nevertheless, there were increasing numbers of women being recruited by the Victoria Police. And that meant more and more, young policewomen like Susie, coming to ‘City Traffic’ now.

Lesbianism might still have been taboo. But, it was tolerated by the Victoria Police. And, both Lindy and Susie knew that cunnilingus was still prescribed as ‘Gross Indecency’ by the old 1955 Crimes Act – along with almost every other ‘City Traffic’ policewoman, Lindy and Susie enjoyed the thrill.

‘The Crazy Horse’ and Caroline ‘The Bitch’ Montague offered just another opportunity, along with the downtown Office Girls, Businesswomen, Socialites, and Prostitutes of the notorious ‘Banana Alley’ Precinct.

However, both Senior Constable Lindy Schroeder and ‘Probationary’ Constable Susie Raynor were well aware of the chances that they were taking. If nothing else, it was now an accepted risk...

The police radio crackled - Lindy had a ‘Motorola’ portable radio clipped to her belt.

She ignored the stuttered message for it had nothing to do with either her or Susie as they headed towards ‘The Crazy Horse’ Strip Club - there was little happening in Melbourne.

But, the two policewomen were still careful.

Not that nobody took any notice of them. Three teenage schoolgirls watched from a doorway - the trio of eighteen-year-old brunettes from the exclusive Methodist Ladies College open lusting after Susie and Lindy.

And, there were two Office Girls in Flinders Lane - they both had that familiar ‘hunger’ in their eyes as they watched the two policewomen intently, as did the owner of ‘The Aquarius’ Boutique from the other side of the street.

Lindy and Susie had avoided three policewomen in Ryrie Lane – they were from the ‘Women Police’ Division at Russell Street and had not even noticed the two ‘City Traffic’ policewomen pass by. They had then passed the unsuspecting ‘Probationary’ Constable Deirdre ‘Dash’ McKinley and Senior Constable Rochelle De La Rue in Flinders Lane.

Susie had wanted to approach Deirdre and Rochelle.

However, Lindy had been adamant that they attend ‘The Crazy Horse’ on their own.

They’d not seen either Senior Constable Rosemary ‘Rosie’ Egan. She’d been issuing a Traffic Ticket and hadn’t seen either Lindy or Susie, so their luck was holding.

And, they’d waited until Constable Adam Cooper and Constable Jack Lawson were busy with a car check before crossing the street - so far so good...?

But then, Lindy and Susie had come upon a Businesswoman in Mill Place,

“I was beginning to wonder if I’d see you again...?” the ‘thirty-something’ brunette confessed.

Lindy hesitated – Susie took hold of the older policewoman’s arm...

“I’ve been waiting for you, Constable Raynor?” continued the Businesswoman,

“Senior Constable Schroeder...?”

The attractive Businesswoman had read the older blonde’s issue nametag, but she’d know who Susie was,

“S-So then...?”

“I do hope,” queried the Businesswoman, “That I’m not interrupting anything, Constable Raynor?”

“Susie...” corrected the younger blonde policewoman – Lindy took a moment to look the brunette over with an approving eye. White shirt, black corporate mini-skirt, matching pantyhose, and stylish hi-heels.

She had the aura of wealth. And the arrogance of privilege...

“Susie...” greeted the Businesswoman – she took hold of Susie’s free hand,

“You were at ‘The Tunnel’ Nightclub last night, weren’t you?” asked Lindy finally.

“Y-Yes...” confirmed the Businesswoman.

She had been at ‘Thge Tunnel’ Nightclub.

Lindy bit her lip.

“I hope that’s not against the Law, Senior Constable Schroeder?”

“Lindy...” responded the older policewoman - the Businesswoman licked slowly at her trembling lips,

“Maybe you want to arrest me huh...?”

Raising her hand, she caressed seductively at Lindy’s cheek with her fingertips...

“Maybe you’d like to ‘fuck’ me, Lindy?”

“What about you, Susie...?” she then demanded of the younger policewoman.

Hesitating a moment, Susie glanced back down the alleyway towards Flinders Lane. They were quite alone with the Businesswoman in Mill Place,

“So what can we do for you?” asked Lindy.

Lowering her hand, the Businesswoman undid another of the older policewoman’s shirt buttons,

“I just wanted to ask you a question, that’s all...?”
