Chapter 5

As I touched a face that was mine and yet also at the same time not my face I was nervous. I didn’t think it would be possible to be this nervous after how nervous I was taking those two guys at the same time.

I jumped when I heard my old voice, “Is this as weird for you as it is for me?”

Lyla laughed, “I think this might be a little bit more weird for him sis. You’ve taken his old form and his new form is someone new.”

“Oh, I guess that’s true,” Danielle said.

“I think we need to talk about what we’re going to do next. And we need to decide what that is quickly. I think someone is coming,” Martha said as she pointed out the elevator.

The numbers slowly ticked away showing that someone was indeed coming. It was something that only happened if someone with a key had picked this level as their destination.

“I think we should hide, the only people that would be coming here would be my family,” I said.

“I don’t think it would be a good idea for them to see me here,” said Danielle.

“Mom, can you cast an invisibility spell?” Lyla asked.

Martha nodded, whispered a few words, and hummed a nice little tune then looked at me, “I can only cast the spell on the three of us. You’ll have to confront whoever comes out of that elevator.”

“Great,” I said with fake enthusiasm.

A few moments later out came my mother and sister from those doors.

Cass smiled, ran over to me, and hugged me, “Danni how have you been?”

She walked around me. It felt weird.

My Mom scowled at me, “Have you seen my son? I figured you wouldn’t tell my husband but would you tell me?”

I scratched my head and said, “Funny you should mention David. He was here this morning, you must have just missed him.”

My Mom looked long and hard at me. It felt as if she could see beneath this new me and into the old me.

“Do you know when he’ll be back?” Mom asked.

“Not really. If you get me a way to contact you I’ll let you know. Is there anything else I can help you with?” I asked.

My Mom looked around, “If you could keep this place as clean as you can I’m actually thinking about renting this place out.”

“There’s something you could help me with. Can we go sightseeing? I hardly get the chance to come to this place,” Cass asked as she clung to my arm.

Mom chuckled, “That sounds like a great way for you two to get to know each other.”

“Thanks, Mom. We’ll text you when we’re done,” Cass said excitedly.

“Would you like to go with us?” I asked.

“I appreciate the offer but I’m really not ready to hang out with the daughter my husband had with another woman at this moment. After all, I just found out about you recently. You’d think I’d have been prepared for this since he had admitted to hooking up with your Mom all those years ago,” Mom informed us.

“I guess that’s fair. Have a good day Eve,” I wanted to call her Mom but after she admitted her feelings toward me I didn’t think that’d be a good idea.

“I’ll meet you downstairs Danni. I need to get something from the car,” Cass said as she was running after our Mom.

After they left Martha and the others reappeared.

Martha said, “You definitely have someone magical in your family. They may not be practicing magic at the moment but one of those two definitely has a connection. And that connection may have been enough to cast that protection spell on you. Even if they didn’t realize it. And that woman that Danielle saw in her dreams could have been one of their subconscious thoughts.”

“But just in case you may need to be careful in your interactions with them,” Lyla said.

“Why do I need to be careful?” I asked.

“Because of the spell, we used last night to stabilize Danielle. It took some of your previous defenses and gave it to her. We don’t know how it’ll interact with their magic. So be careful. If you have any strange sensations that aren’t normal for this body make an excuse to go home,” Martha told me.

After visiting several different stores and purchasing a couple of movie tickets Cass and I found a nice quiet place to relax while we waited for the movie to start.

Cass cleared her throat, “I’ve been noticing something since we started our outing. I wasn’t sure if it was because you weren’t used to being a woman or if something happened in your transformation but you’ve been walking a little funny. Is that normal?”

I felt my face burn as she asked. I looked at my knees as I said, “That’s actually a recent development. I kind of sort of had a bit too much fun last night.”

“Fun? What kind of fun would cause you to walk like that?” Cass asked.

“I uh, had a,” I whispered in her ear so nobody else could overhear, “I had a threesome with a couple of guys.”

My Sister’s jaw dropped, “You had sex with two guys at the same time?”

“Shh. Don’t shout it for the world to hear,” I started to nervous laugh. “But yes. I did. I ran into these two hot guys and I couldn’t control myself. I invited them to my hotel room and one thing led to another that led to pretty much an all-nighter.

“Oh, my God. How did it feel? Did you lose your female virginity to those two guys? How did it feel to lose your virginity?” Cass asked.
