Chapter 5
The evening drew on with Brad and Abby, Diane, Derek, Brenda, and Peter saying they were going to the boy’s home down the street.
Dan sat in the rec room, looking at the applications for adoption and name changes. Karen came and sat beside him, her feet curled up.
“Did you know about Lisa, the girls, and Cathy?” He asked.
“Yes, Lisa and Cathy told me last week and wanted it to be a Christmas surprise.”
“It sure was.”
“I’m happy that Lisa wants to change her name to Hayward and that you are becoming Hanna and Jenny’s father. I’m surprised that Cathy wants her original last name again.”
“So am I, then to get pregnant by me again. I feel very fortunate to have a large family, but I may insist that Lisa and Cathy either have their tubes tied or go back on the pill. She said she’s contemplating changing Danny’s last name to Hayward, too. She said she called Ben’s parents to reach out to them for Danny’s sake but hasn’t heard from them. Her last call was a voicemail saying, if they didn’t contact her and want to see Danny by New Years, she wants nothing more to do with their family and is changing Danny’s name to Hayward.”
“Lisa is going to get her tubes tied. Cathy is going back on the pill, in case she meets the right guy. Dan, I know we all want to be with you, but you should fuck Lisa and then Cathy to show them your love and approval of them getting pregnant from you.”
“That’ll make nine babies born into the family in about three years.”
Dan went into the living room and found Lisa and Cathy sitting by the fireplace. “What are you two conspiring about now?”
“Nothing, Daddy. We got what we wanted from you, a baby to be born.”
“I feel so used,” he joked.
“You were used to get us pregnant,” Lisa added.
Lisa gave Cathy a warm, sensual kiss and then stood, taking Dan by the hand and leading him to their bedroom.
“I guess it’s too late to ask if you’re disappointed that I’m pregnant.”
“You had hinted several times that you wanted to have another, hoping to have a boy.”
