Prelude

John and Mary were married when Mary was nineteen. John was twenty-five and had just made his first million after the sell of shares in a.Com business. He reinvested much of the income and quickly became a multi millionaire. Things were not all smooth sailing however. A year after their marriage Mary became pregnant with with what would be their only child. Because of complications during childbirth Mary developed cancer. Their daughter Mary, named for her mother, along with battling the cancer became the sole focus of their lives. Mary, the mother, lost her battle with cancer when her daughter was twelve. It was a sad time for both John and his daughter Mary.

There was one good thing that had come out of the tragedy however, it was how closely knit the family was. For example he both of Mary’s parents had begun home schooling her almost from the time she could walk and talk. She was well versed in almost any subject you can think of. At the age of twelve she the equivalent of a four year college education.
