02 August, Monday, Diary goes another week of searching for a job to pay back my parents for the apartment they provided me to gain some independence. This weekend at the house, my mother urged me to sign up for some classes at the community college. To pursue an associate degree in business administration or another field of study.
Against my parent’s wishes, go back to school just yet. To get hired at some entry position like a mail clerk and have to work my way up. I have my sights set on something higher. Over the past few months, since the beginning of summer when I graduated at the top of my class. Several prospective job interviews with various companies around where I grew up and those near my apartment closer to the downtown area.
Each one of the interviews starts well with the standard questions about me, to the job I applied for in the position submission. That is when they turn to the line, thinking you are great for our company, but we would like it if you would accept this position instead. Knowing that I do not want to explain to my parents in September, unable to pay them something. Accept those jobs even if they do not meet my criteria to have some income coming in to pay them something back.
Diary, this is it for now. I have two interviews downtown at a bank and the other at some insurance company.
