Chapter 2: The Bodyguard

The next day at lunch, Juliet met up with her friends Zoe and Ella who were both in her year. Ella had been her friend since forever, but Zoe had only joined them as best friends in the last year. Zoe had been depressed because her parents had made her give up her intensive competitive sailing to concentrate on her studies. Juliet had helped cheer her up, but she still missed sailing and daydreamed about her first love, Paolo. James walked towards Juliet, looked into her excited eyes, smiled and kissed her softly on her lips. She sighed, wanting more but she did not want to get into trouble at school, so she backed away slightly and gazed into his eyes with a sexy grin.

She turned to introduce her friends. “James, these are my best friends Ella and Zoe.”

The girls said “Hi” and James said “Pleased to meet two more beautiful ladies!”

Ella and Zoe smiled back at him and set off together to go home. Juliet and James set off towards her house.

“It’s really nice of you to walk me home James, but how come you have so much free time during the day?” Juliet asked.

“We don’t have many people during the day. They mostly come after work, so we stay open ‘till 7. I also manage the club upstairs, but we don’t open until 9.” James replied.

“I didn’t notice the entrance. What sort of club is it?” she asked.

“Clients use the gym entrance and go up the stairs. It’s a very exclusive club for wealthy, mostly business people to just hang out and have a quiet drink with a pretty girl. My Dad has a similar club for older guys, so we try to attract younger clients.” He explained. “I’ll show you around later.”

They continued walking and Juliet asked “How did you get to manage both clubs?”

“My Dad has a number of businesses and he wants me to take over when he retires. He expected me to go to uni and become an accountant or something equally boring, so he got really pissed when I signed up to join the marines instead. When I got out, he offered me these two jobs and I could not think of anything better to do.”

“So you joined the marines at 18?” she asked.

“Yes, straight after ‘A’ levels. I did quite well and had offers at Warwick and LSE but decided to join the Marines instead.

“Aren’t you bored after the excitement with the marines?” Juliet asked.

“After a couple of tours in Afghanistan, I’ve had enough of that kind of excitement.” James replied. “But enough about me, tell me about you.”

“Well, I’ll be coming up to ‘A’ levels next year, so I guess I should be thinking about Uni soon.” Juliet sighed. “My parents are workaholics. Dad is a junior minister in the Foreign Office and Mum runs half a dozen charities. They are both away for days and sometimes weeks at a time. Even when they are at home, they usually leave the house before me in the morning and I’m often asleep before they get home. I don’t have any siblings and so our housekeeper is the only one I see much of at home.”

“So you must be a bit lonely” James replied.

“It’s not so bad. I often have friends round and I go out with them a lot” Juliet explained.

“What sports do you like to do?” James asked.

“I play soccer, hockey, tennis, athletics. and I’m also in the school swim squad.” Juliet replied, brightening up.

“No wonder you have such a firm, toned body!” he replied, causing her to blush and smile at him.

They reached the sports club and went inside to find it empty.

“The changing room is over there. I’ll get some kit for you and be back in a minute.”

She went into the changing room and stripped down to her panties then put her sports bra on and waited for him. He reappeared a few minutes later with her kit and walked straight into the changing room.

“Wow!” James explained, his eyes wide. “Put these on quick!”

She laughed and slowly slid the white cotton pants on. He held out the white rougher cotton jacket for her to put on then turned her around and put the white belt around her waist. She grinned and he could not believe how cute she looked

He took her through some basic warm-ups, moves and holds for the next hour. She really liked it but was not sure how much his closeness and their appreciation of each others lithe body movements contributed.
