Chapter 38

I might have mentioned that Sweetie is from Australia. Her accent has mellowed a great deal, however, when she is tired, intoxicated or mad at me, it returns (to either my amusment or terror). Certain terms and phrases don’t always translate well from “Australian” to “American”.

She commented that we Americans seem to use the word “shit” for a number of reasons that don’t always make sense to her. So, for her education (and for anyone else who is curious), I present the following;

The Shit List
Dog Shit: Very poor quality.
Bull Shit: Not true.
Horse Shit: Nonsense
Ape Shit: Rambunctious.
Bat Shit: Crazy/Insane
Chicken Shit: Cowardly
No Shit: Obviously.
Holy Shit: Mind Blowing.
Hot Shit: Very good.
Dip Shit: Total dumbass.
Tuff Shit: Take it or leave it.
Jack Shit: Nothing.
The Shit: Perfection.
And in case any of you have additional “shits” to add, please feel free to let me know. We can do this like the “egg” thing from chapters 12 and 15.
