5 Space Events that will occur within our lifetime.

1: In August 2027, the second longest solar eclipse will take place, lasting 6 minutes and 23 seconds. (But an even longer eclipse will take place in 2186.)

2: In 2029, the Asteroid 99942 which is the size of slightly over 3 football fields, will pass between the Moon and the Earth. Vegas Odds Makers give it a 2.7% chance of hitting the Earth.

3: In 2031, NASA plans to crash the International Space Station into the ocean at a place called “Point Nemo”, which is the place furthest away from humanity.

5: Moving on, in 2040, a rare 5 planet alignment will happen that is visible to the human eye.

5: It is predicted that by 2060, Mars will be colonized and have a population of 1,000,000 humans (start packing!).
