Chapter 18

Deirdre Elaine McKinley stood by the front counter.

Senior Constable ‘Wild Bill’ O’Donoghue had not entered Sandra Lee Murdoch into the Interview Register, but it was not up to the young brunette policewoman to remind him. Nor did Kelly think it was her place to do anything about it either – ‘Wild Bill’ had almost ten years ‘seniority’ on them, and both Sergeant ‘Killer’ Caldwell and Sergeant ‘Kev’ Wainwright had been present too. And so, both policewomen kept it to themselves after realising their male colleague’s mistake.

Kelly Maree O’Rourke looked up. It had been almost thirty minutes since Sandra had been brought in – she’d not expected ‘Wild Bill’ to accept her word that ‘The Countess’ was clean. But, he had. Her routine ‘strip search’ of the half-0caste Aboriginal hermaphrodite had been rather informal, but the young blonde policewoman had never intended doing anything else with her girlfriend...

“Sandra...” Kelly whispered to Deirdre finally. Pausing, she glanced out the adjacent doorway,

“She’s a prostitute, Deirdre – she works for Rebecca Campbell at the ‘Fantasia’ Massage Parlour...”

“Racecourse Road...?” the brunette queried. Kelly nodded. ‘Probationary’ Constable Deirdre ‘Dash’ McKinley moved a little closer,

“You won’t say anything, will you?” queried Kelly, reaching for the telephone...

“If I were to call ‘Mistress Rebecca’ and let her know what’s happening, Deirdre?”

“Well, she is your Landlady...?” the brunette replied – Kelly had told her that a few minutes before,

“By rights,” Kelly admitted, “I should ask Tess Gallagher and the ‘Women Police’ to help Sandra?”

“Nonsense...” snapped Deirdre. She sat on the edge of the large Watchousekeeper’s desk,

“We can sort this out without their help, Kelly – can’t we?”

Kelly nodded. She began to dial the telephone.

“Who would’ve thought eh...?” observed Deirdre – she sat back on the Watchousekeeper’s desk...

“Constable Kelly O’Rourke and ‘The Countess’ Murdoch?” the young brunette continued, smiling at her blonde colleague. She would keep an eye out for Senior Constable ‘Wild Bill’ O’Donoghue and both Sergeant ‘Killer’ Caldwell and Sergeant ;Kev’ Wainwright whilst Rebecca ‘Becky’ Campbell was told of what was happening,

“Rebecca fuckin’ Campbell too – you do surprise me, Kelly?”

Deirdre Elaine McKinley could not forget that ‘Probationary’ Constable Kelly O’Rourke had encouraged her to ‘pleasure’ Sandra ‘The Countess’ Murdoch by the Charge Counter only half an hour beforehand,

“Would you have really let me ‘suck’ your girlfriend’s ‘cock’...?”

Kelly nodded. The telephone was ringing at the ‘Fantasia’s Massage Parlour,

“Y-Yes...”

Raising her hand, Kelly began to caress the brunette’s cheek with her fingertips.

“Do your plans for anything in the morning, Deirdre?”

Deirdre slowly shook her head. Her eyes were fixed on the door to the Interview Room.

Sergeant ‘Killer’ Caldwell was asleep in the ‘Sergeants Office’ – they could hear him snoring.

“Why don’t you come home with me...?” Kelly suggested in a whisper.

She was confident that she could get Sandra released with Rebecca’s help,

Closing her eyes, she lowered her hand – leaning forward, she pressed her lips to Deirdre’s waiting mouth and they kissed. Beneath the crisp pale-blue fabric of her uniform shirt, the brunette’s nipples were hard and erect – their lips parted after a moment. Rebecca had answered the telephone.,

A dribble of saliva hung between the lips of the two policewomen...

“We have a problem, Miss Campbell...?”

Deirdre sat up. She wiped at her moist lips with the back of her hand and sighed.

She fondly recalled kissing Kelly at the Glen Waverley ‘Police Training Academy’ but said nothing,

“Could you come down to the Flemington Police Station, ‘Mistress Rebecca’ – Sandra’s in trouble?”

Kelly then hung up the telephone. Rebecca had simply said,

“Y-Yes...”

Deirdre stood up – she positioned herself back at the front counter with her back to the front door.

As if on cue, Sergeant ‘Kev’ Wainwright appeared. Pausing, he nodded to both policewomen before slipping out the back door for home. Cassandra Nicholson was still upstairs.

Senior Constable ‘Wild Bill’ O’Donoghue opened the door to the Interview Room.

From where she sat, Kelly could see Sandra – ‘Wild Bill’ had not hurt her, so that was a relief to Kelly,

“Here we go...?”

Turning her chair around, Kelly faced the open doorway. She watched ‘Wild Bill’ usher Sandra from the Interview Room,

“Are we alone?” the policeman asked.

Kelly glanced at Deirdre...

“Cassandra’s still cleaning the ‘Criminal Investigation Branch’ upstairs?”

“Sergeant Kavanagh’s just headed off...?” added Deirdre – ‘Wild Bill’ paused in the doorway.

Sandra decided it was prudent to say nothing and just lingered behind the policeman.

“I don’t know about Sergeant Gallagher and the ‘Women Police’...?” Kelly warned – she’d all but forgotten about Tess and ‘The Twins’...

“So, it’s just you two ‘cunts’ huh...?” hissed ‘Wild Bill’ after a moment’s hesitation.

Kelly nodded.

“Hello again...” Sandra greeted Kelly.

The young blonde policewoman pushed her paperwork to one side,

“Constable McKinley...” Sandra greeted – the brunette policewoman just visible over Senior Constable ‘Wild Bill’ O’Donoghue’s shoulder as she stood at the front counter,

“Sandra’s been a naughty girl...” continued ‘Wild Bill’ with a note of contempt in his voice.

Kelly nodded again. Deirdre tugged apathetically at the sleeve of her tight-fitting uniform shirt,

“But, we’re going to let her go pending further enquiries – aren’t we now, Constable O’Rourke?”

‘Wild Bill’ beckoned Sandra into the small Watchousekeeper’s Office – ‘The Countess’ sat in the chair, Senior Constable ‘Wild Bill’ O’Donoghue offered her...

“So, there’s going to be no fuckin’ Interview Register or paperwork, understand?”

Both policewomen nodded without speaking.

Kelly went to stand, but ‘Wild Bill’ indicated she should remain seated with a flourish of his hand.

It was uncomfortable for the young blonde policewoman to be sitting so close to Sandra without being able to display some form of affection – ‘The Countess’ too, found it hard to refrain from placing her hand on Kelly’s thighs as they sat beside each other,

“Somebody will need to collect her, Constable O’Rourke?”

‘Wild Bill’ was ignoring ‘Probationary’ Constable Deirdre ‘Dash’ McKinley,

“Rebecca Campbell called a few minutes ago...” lied Kelly. The policeman raised an eyebrow,

“I told her that Sandra was in custody as she was asking about her, Senior Constable O’Donoghue?”

‘Wild Bill’ shrugged,

“S-Sandra...?” Kelly gasped,. There was a dribble of ‘cum’ oozing from between Sandra’s lips.

“Occupational hazard...” Sandra whispered.

“She’s been very co-operative...” said ‘Wild Bill’ as he moved closer to Kelly.

Deirdre could see everything, but she effectively blocked what was now happening from anybody who might come through the front door,
