“Mom ... you learned to fly in this?” Three voices, three girls ... Natasha (Nat), Sasha (Sassy), and Svetlana (Lana... )turning 17, instant family.

‘This’ refered to my Polikarpov Po-2, now pushing 80 years old.

Once she was Daddy’s, now mine ... very Russian, very old and very fun. This was her fourth iteration ... better wings, instruments and coverings. But her bones were good.

Lisa said, “Yes.”

“Daddy proposed in this?” Natasha said.

“Yes.”

“How romantic!” gushed Svetlana.

“I always knew you two were crazy,” said Sasha. She was refering to her parents ... although she often said that about her sisters.

All three had passed their flight physical and were here for lessons.
