László Moholy-Nagy – Q1 Suprematistic

I often not sure what to make of abstract art, but something about László Moholy-Nagy’s Q1 drew me in. I was curious what effect “being in the painting” would have on me. Given the “loud” colors, I was surprised to find upon my entry that there was no sound at all. Maybe in some of my past portallings there hadn’t been sound, but this time I was especially conscious of it. Furthermore, though I stood upon a yellow line of negligible width, I had no fear of falling. Balance wasn’t an issue. Lifting a leg led me to believe there was no gravity. I might have been weightless.
