Fiction Story: Naughty pictures at a dangerous waterfall. Illustrated.

One time Logan and I hiked up a steep path to a lovely waterfall. Up at the overlook it was so quiet except for the sounds of the falls splashing down. We watched and we watched and then we walked down to the pool at the base of the falls. At first we thought there was no one around, but then we noticed a young black woman sitting in the shadows watching the falls. She looked so calm, like she was meditating. She was very pretty. But I wished she wasn’t there. I wanted the falls to be just for us. I thought if she weren’t here Logan and I would be kissing right now, maybe even fucking.
“Let me get a picture of you,” Logan said. “Go stand out on that rock.”
“It looks slippery,” I said.
“Don’t worry, if you fall in I’ll rescue you.”
But I was afraid to go out onto the rock. I stood on a closer rock.
“You’re so daring,” Logan said facetiously. I was going to give him two fingers but at the last second I just held up my hands in victory signs.
Carefully I made my way back to Logan.
“Good job, Honey,” he said. He kissed me.
I could feel the black girl watching us. Fuck her, I thought.
We were about to go up when the black girl got up and asked if we’d take her picture. She handed her cell phone camera to Logan then scampered out to the rock I’d been afraid to try. She had such a pretty smile. “Got it,” said Logan.
