Chapter 3
All good things seem to come to an end, usually not always such a good ending either. This one seemed to be so. I must say the girls were up-front, blunt and direct about the whole sad thing. Money was never the issue, Tracie had more than enough, they said.
Poor Sandi was caught between a rock and a hard place, more like in the line of fire. Give her credit, she wanted to do the right thing, they all did. That did not make me feel any better though. My ‘Agent’ wanted to just let everything go back to the way it was before the contract and was willing to give me the money.
No easy way to make that happen the lawyers said. To me, she got me more than I expected and got her fees added. After 23 new and very creative ‘solutions’ took on water and were sunk; Tracie made one up. Sandi would pay Tracie some of ‘her’ Agent’s10% of my salary in exchange for me to own the ship, I would be able to live on it whenever I wanted. It would be mine, I would pay for my own food and things for the ship, Tracie said the berth at the marina was included. It was imposible to be upset with any of them.
I would start living on the ship. I sort of indicated we would remain friends. This was re-enforced when we all changed the banking accounts to everyone’s satisfaction. I still needed a driver though. This was South/Central don’t forget so I probably needed my own ‘Fire Team’ even.
Eva, head of team/stadium security had a good solution for those problems. Some of her team would pick me up and drive me back each day. This would need further negotiations during the off-season but it solved a few immediate problems.
Cook, clean and general ‘gofer’ duty aboard ship could have been another problem for me; like I said ‘could’ have been a problem; except for the look-alikes. Becky 1 and Becky 2 were BFF. 18 and no jobs, ‘California girls’ not interested in the ‘Casting Couch’, nude dancing nor ‘escort’ services. Pay was easy, for room, board(Live, sleep and eat on-board), expenses(Minimal) and $2,000 each a month. both became ‘Ship’s Crew’ 24/7. I mentioned both were California girls, right? (We added education for them to be captain of the ship) I did get them home and away jerseys(XXX-large) with my number on them too.
