Willie entered the kitchen and Travis looked up at him from the table. He also saw the doctors and Helen sitting there. He heard sizzling and looked to see Kelly with the three little ones in the kitchen in tight panties and T-shirts. Willie smiled and sat down; Jennifer brought him a cup of coffee.

“Thank you, sweetie.”

“You’re welcome, Willie,” Jennifer said, kissing him on the cheek.

“Good morning, Willie. Travis filled us in on last night. Do you have anything specific you want to mention?” Dr. Trish asked. Willie let his mind move back to last night with Cassie sitting on his cock while Travis fucked her ass from behind. It felt different, but he didn’t think that was what the doctor was after.

“She seemed different, but then sometimes not.”

“What do you mean, Willie?” Dr. Trish asked.

“Well, Cassie has always been strong and able to survive some really bad things. Last night, it was like she was confused; she knew me, but she talked to me like I was something else.”

Dr. Trish sighed. “Yes, I think she is mixing up the people in her life now. You and Travis were from different scenarios, but she put you together.”

“Doc, is that normal?” Travis said.

“Well, no, but for her, it’s expected at this point. Her dreams are intermixing, and now her realities may be doing the same thing.”

Helen sighed. “Isn’t that what we were afraid of?”

Dr. Trish nodded. “Yes, her mind is losing the ability to compartmentalize. Characters from different parts of her life could start merging or blending.”

Helen shook her head. “I guess the only answer we have is drugs?”

Trish nodded and touched Helen’s hand. “Right now, yes, but I am still researching. Hang in there, Helen.”

Helen took a deep breath and nodded. “Thank you, where’s B?”

“She left as soon as Cassie showed up, mumbling about something.” Kelly said from the kitchen.

Helen nodded. “Trish, do you think it’s still a good idea to go on a boat with all of this going on?”

“I don’t know Helen, but I do agree with Kelly that a change of scenery and some relaxation will be wonderful.”

“I do know and it’s not up for debate, we’re going!”

Everyone turned and saw Cassie walking to the table in a long white T-shirt. Her hair was wet and hanging over her shoulders. Marcus was behind her, and he sat down. Cassie walked up to her mom and kissed her on the cheek. “Sorry if that sounded harsh but no one is changing plans because of me. Everyone, including me, is very excited, so no more talk of cancelling.”

Helen smiled and watched her daughter walk into the kitchen. She saw her hug and kiss all the little ones and filled a mug of coffee for herself. She came back to the table and sat next to Marcus. She took a sip and looked at everyone staring at her.

“Ok, you can start talking again. I know you weren’t all sitting around silently,” Cassie said, and giggling was heard in the kitchen.

Dr. Trish smiled. “We were just talking about last night and your blending of different people.”

Cassie frowned. “Yeah, sorry Willie, I know you’re not a food guy. Travis, I’m really sorry, I know you didn’t want to do that.”

Travis nodded dismissively. Helen looked from Travis to Dr. Trish to Cassie. “Wait, you remember everything from last night?”

Cassie smiled. “Yeah, isn’t that a kick in the head. I think I was going back to visit my buddies in the frat house for some stupid reason and then I saw Travis in the hallway and flipped over to HQ. We got back in the room; I saw the pizza, and it clicked, and that’s why I thought Willie was a food guy. I also thought it was Friday, so ... yeah.”

Jennifer gasped from the kitchen and put her hand over her mouth. Cassie looked at her and nodded.

Dr. Trish typed on her phone and then looked up. “Cassie, what happened in your dream?”

Cassie sighed. “It was not any fun; I think it was Stratford. It was probably because I saw Taylor’s scar earlier; that must have triggered that part. Then I found Becky, and well, let’s just say I’m really happy you guys didn’t drug me. Doc, I think we’ll keep the rest of the details for our next session since I smell food.”

“So, the food thing is still a major issue since it’s occurring in the dreams and the wake states?” Dr. Trish said.

“Yeah, seems so, but I have a new plan for that. I’m not going to fight it anymore. I have so much else to get straight I will just need to have sex before I eat for a while. Marcus took care of me in the shower so I’m good for breakfast. I have a lot of nice men around, so I think I’ll be covered. One of you two will be on call for lunch since Marcus will be at practice,” Cassie smiled at Willie and Travis, who looked confused.

“Honey, are you sure?” Helen said in a worried tone.

Cassie took her mom’s hand. “Mom, I think three times a day will not kill me, and it will be nice not to have to worry about that for a while. It will be fine.”

Helen looked at Dr. Trish who shrugged. “I’m ok with it, anything to let her focus on the other major issues.”

Cassie took a sip of coffee. “Oh yeah, I want to try something else. This avoiding sleep crap is not working so I’m going to try and sleep more, lots of small naps. Maybe I won’t be so tired, and I won’t fall so deep and be able to stop the nightmares before they get too bad.”

Dr. Trish chuckled. “Sounds good Dr. Cassie.”

Later that day Helen sat at the table with Kelly, looking over the spreadsheet. Cassie was asleep on the couch, her second nap of the day. The first nap was without incident, and Helen shook her head. Could it be that simple? Then she thought of what life Cassie could lead with her days full of multiple naps. She sighed and looked back at the screen.

“And then we will dress in gorilla suits and jump around for an hour.” Kelly said and Helen blinked.

“What?” Helen said and Kelly smiled.

“You were zoned out for at least a minute; I think it took me 30 seconds to figure it out,” Kelly said.

“Kelly, I’m so sorry. I have a lot on my mind.”

Kelly rubbed Helen’s arm. “Helen, she seems to be stronger for some reason today. Take the small wins.”

Helen sighed. “You’re right. Where are we?” Helen looked back at the screen.

“You did talk to John, right?”

Helen nodded. “Yes, he is ok with the cruise. He talked to Kelcie; I think he’s coming into town in the morning to see her before we leave.”

“Ok, good. Kelcie will like that. Are you packed?”

Helen sighed. “No, I haven’t even started.”

“No problem let’s go do it right now while she’s sleeping. We should have just enough time to get it done before we have to wake her. All you need are your toiletries and a few bathing suits.” Kelly said and chuckled.

Cassie felt the sun on her face as she looked up at the sky. She turned her head and saw Becky next to her. Bruises still covered her body. Her left eye was completely swollen shut, but she could open her right eye slightly, and that eye was looking at Cassie.

“Good plan you came up with. Are you sure you can get us out?”

Cassie smiled. “I think so, I don’t feel slow or tired right now.”

“Yes, but are you really resting?”

“Feels like it. We’re here, right. This is our place.” Cassie said as a wave broke over her feet.

“True, I hope you’re right. They have been pretty vicious lately, as you can see.”

Cassie frowned as she looked at her friend’s body. It didn’t look good. She remembered what she felt like after hanging in Carl’s fucking garage, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as what she was seeing on Becky. She grabbed Becky’s hand and squeezed.

“How about we just enjoy this for a little while, and we can worry about that other crap later.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Becky said and another sun-warmed wave flooded over their feet.

Kelly zipped up Helen’s suitcase. “See, that didn’t take long. I see the girls are ready.” Kelly looked and saw three small pink suitcases lined up against the wall.

“Yes, they are very excited,” Helen said.

Kelly glanced at her watch. “It’s almost time to wake Cassie.”

Cassie heard some voices, and she turned her head. She saw four large guys walking towards them on the beach. They were all naked, and the one in front was carrying a baseball bat. She noticed immediately their cocks were hard and swinging in front of them.

“Well, lookie what we found; the punching bag and the three-hole whore.” There was a lot of laughing, and Becky squeezed Cassie’s hand.

Cassie watched them walk closer and she focused her mind. She saw the one in front lift the bat and she opened her eyes. Her mom was kneeling in front of the couch and looking at her.

“Hi mom.”

“Hi baby, did we wake you?”

“No, I did it on my own. There were four men, and they were going to hurt us, I got us out of there.”

“Good for you, baby girl. Your plan is working. Are you hungry?” Helen said and rubbed Cassie’s cheek,

Cassie felt a tingle between her legs. “Is Marcus still at practice?”

Helen nodded.

“Ok, where are the other guys?”

“Travis is in with Trish; I think Willie is in his apartment.”

Cassie sat up and stretched her right arm. “Ok, I will go see Willie and be right back.”

“Baby, are you sure?” Helen rubbed Cassie’s leg.

“Yes, mom, it’ll be ok. Where are the girls?” Cassie said, noticing the peace and quiet.

“They went for a walk with Dr. Wallace, they were bouncing off the walls because they are very excited about the trip.”

Cassie chuckled. “Yeah, I figured. They’re all packed already, aren’t they?”

Helen nodded. “Yeah, they are.”

Cassie stood up. “I have to pee and then I will go see Willie.”

Helen watched her sweet daughter walk into the bedroom. She looked like a regular teenage girl, even with a screwed-up left shoulder. She did like the stronger attitude, like she was taking more control. Helen didn’t know what was going on, but she was going to take Kelly’s advice and take the win. She walked into the kitchen to help Kelly with lunch.

Cassie sat on the toilet and let her bladder release. The images of the empty white room still hit her, but she knew they were coming now, so they were nothing but a memory. She wiped, flushed, and left the bathroom, pausing when she saw the three small pink suitcases. Her heart hurt as she sat on the bed. She remembered Jennifer’s horrible sobbing when the mean men in the cabin took her pink suitcase. That scene was still blurry, but she remembered the feeling of happiness that was shattered and quickly became a nightmare. She took a deep breath and stood up; she could do this.

“Mom, I’ll be back in a minute,” Cassie said, and the door closed before Helen could react.

Kelly squeezed Helen’s arm. “She’s getting better.”

“I know but it’s still hard.”

Willie looked up and saw Cassie enter his apartment. He muted the TV. She walked over in front of him as he sat on the couch. He noticed she was wearing shorts and a tight white T-shirt with two small distinct bumps. His cock flinched as she stood and smiled at him.

“Hi, Willie.”

“Hi, Miss Cassie.”

Cassie knelt in front of him and moved her hands to the top of his pants. “I was wondering if you would help me out.”

Willie swallowed. “What ... do you need?”

Cassie unzipped his pants slowly. “Well, you see Willie, it is lunch time, and I you know I have decided not to fight the urge anymore.”

Cassie pulled his semi-hard cock out and held it in her tiny white hand. She looked up at Willie.

“Miss Cassie, I don’t understand,” Willie said softly.

Cassie stopped when she saw the fear in his eyes. His cock was still not completely hard, and she held it and stared at him. The helplessness she saw in his eyes hit her, and she remembered how she felt at HQ when Neal shoved his cock into her mouth as she was waking up. Neal didn’t want to hurt her; she knew that now, but he had a job, and he had no choice. She looked up at Willie and she realized she had a choice. She didn’t have to do this to him.

Cassie dropped her hands and sat back on her feet, hanging her head. “Willie, I’m so sorry.” The last word came out as a sob.

Willie had no idea what was happening, but he knew his young friend was hurting. He slipped off the couch and pulled her into his arms. He felt her body lurch with the sobs as he held the small girl. He felt anger that anyone could hurt something so beautiful. He rubbed the back of her head as she cried into his chest.

“Sweetie, let it out. We’ll figure it out.”

Cassie opened her mouth to respond but closed it when she realized she had no words. Taking a deep breath, she sat in the warm embrace of her friend.

Kelly snickered when the door flew open, and the circus entered. Janice rolled her eyes as she came in and Kelly walked over and hugged her. “Thank you for taking one for the team.”

Dr. Wallace sighed. “They are just so excited, it’s nice but exhausting.”

Helen chuckled as she touched Janice’s arm. “Thank you. I will take over now.”

Helen looked at the three girls who had stopped in the middle of the room. They were all smiling, and she could see them bouncing slightly on their bare feet. Next to them, she saw the three pairs of sandals in a pile. Helen took a breath.

“Ok, you stinkers. I know you are very excited, but we need to channel it. Get into the kitchen and help Kelly with lunch. No, not help, just do what she says,” Helen said and popped Jennifer on the butt.

“Yes, mom.” Three voices said melodically in unison. Helen watched the three girls bounce into the kitchen. They were laughing and incredibly happy. Helen was happy that they all had Trish.

The door opened and Beatrice walked in. She was carrying a small black bag and walked over to Helen.

“Helen, I want to discuss something with you,” Beatrice said, holding up the bag. Beatrice took Helen’s arm and led her to the couch.

“B, what’s going on?”

Beatrice heard the fear in Helen’s voice. She rubbed Helen’s arm. “Helen, I’m sorry, it’s just been so crazy. This is not something bad.” Helen breathed a sigh of relief. Beatrice opened the bag and took out a small white card with what looked like earrings stuck in it.

“Jewelry?”

Beatrice chuckled. “In a way. These are trackers, it spooked me this morning when we lost Cassie for a few minutes. Now we are about to put her on a large boat with a lot of hiding places, and it terrified me, so these will allow us to track her as long as she’s wearing them.”

Helen took the small card, there were small dark red jewels in the middle of the small earrings. “They are pretty.”

Beatrice pulled out three more cards, each with a different color. She held them out. “I figured we would want to know where they all were.”

Helen chuckled. “That’s not a bad idea.”

Cassie got herself under control. She pulled out of the hug and wiped her eyes. She looked up at Willie and he pushed some stray hair off her face and smiled at her.

“Thank you, Willie.”

“You’re welcome sweetie. I will do anything for you baby girl. What do you need?”

Cassie took a breath. “I don’t know Willie.”

Willie chuckled. “Ok, let’s take it slow. How do you feel right now?”

“Better actually.”

“So, the urge you talked about is gone?”

“Not gone, just in the background.”

“Enough for you to eat lunch?”

Cassie nodded. “I think so.”

“There you go. So, did we figure something out?”

Cassie chuckled. “Only that if I lose my shit and cry like a maniac, I can suppress the urge.”

Willie laughed. “Well, it’s something.”

“Willie, thank you. Maybe next time a quick blow job would be a lot less stressful.”

Willie laughed. “Baby, you are something else.” Willie hugged her and rubbed her back.

Cassie looked down at his soft cock and grabbed it while looking back at his face. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

“It will be here for you anytime you need it. How about we go eat some lunch.”

Cassie smiled and leaned her head against his chest, holding onto his cock. What would her life be like? Could she do this forever, moving from cock to cock for every meal. Would that leave time for love? What would Marcus say about her having to have maintenance sex three times a day? Willie rubbed her back again and she felt better.

“Yes, let’s go eat lunch. Put this thing away; it’s too tempting,” Cassie said and wiggled his soft cock.

Kelly sat back in the chair and watched the girls devour sandwiches and macaroni salad. Where did they put all the food? She tried to remember when she was that age, did she eat like a trucker too? The door opened and she saw Cassie lead Willie into the room. She wondered what had happened and it made her a little sad.

Cassie grabbed two sandwiches and sat next to Willie.

“So, girls, who has worn earrings before?” Beatrice said and everyone looked at her.

“I have,” Taylor said.

Beatrice nodded and looked at Jennifer. She got a negative head shake.

“I got my ears pierced when I was 10 but I haven’t worn any since... “ Kelcie said and sniffled. Helen hugged her.

Dr. Wallace touched Kelcie’s hand. “Kelcie, it’s ok, we can re-pierce them, it won’t hurt at all, I promise.”

“B, did you buy us some earrings?” Jennifer said.

Beatrice chuckled. “Sort of, I need you guys to wear these.” Beatrice tossed the four cards on the table.

The girls squealed and started grabbing the cards.

“Can I have the green ones?” Taylor said and Jennifer handed her the card.

“Does anyone want the red?” Jennifer said and no one said anything.

Kelcie picked up the last two cards, blue and purple. She looked at Cassie and handed her the blue card. “These will look very cool with your eyes.”

Cassie took the card and looked at the pretty earrings. “Thanks Kelcie.”

“B, how do these work?” Jennifer said.

“I will load an app on the phones, and we can track each one of them.”

“Hide and seek is going to suck.” Jennifer said and Cassie laughed.

Helen looked at her daughter and her heart leaped. The laugh sounded so good to her ears. She tried not to overreact, and Kelly touched her arm. She looked at Kelly, who nodded and smiled.

“Ok girls, after lunch, we will have a piercing party,” Dr. Wallace said, and there was more giggling.

Cassie walked into Trish’s apartment and sat on the couch. Dr. Trish looked at her over her coffee cup. She put the cup down and settled in her chair.

“Doc, where do you want to start?”

“Well, how about the details you didn’t want to share at breakfast?”

Cassie sighed. “The first part of the dream was just Stratford and his cowboys tying me up and trying to fuck me to death, as he called it.”

“But they didn’t ... fuck you to death.”

“I guess not, they just finished and disappeared. The floor was very slippery, and I fell down a lot. That was gross. The room was dark, but I made it to the door and heard whimpering.”

“Whimpering?”

“Human whimpering, like someone in pain.”

“What did you do?”

“Of course, I walked towards it. You know me. I can’t walk away from more shit.”

Dr. Trish smiled. “I would call it something else. What did you find?”

“I found Becky all trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey. She was hanging over the huge metal spike thing.”

“The one Victor threatened to use on you?”

Cassie felt a sharp pain, so she touched her forehead. That wasn’t right. It was a dream, but it wasn’t right. “It wasn’t Victor.”

Trish looked up. “Cassie, you said Victor threatened to kill you with the spike.”

Cassie shook her head. “That was the dream. The person that threatened was Franz.”

Trish scooted to the edge of her chair. “Franz, the man from Germany?”

Cassie rubbed her forehead. The pain was dull but ran through her head. She blinked and raised her head. “Yes, he was very mad that we escaped.”

“What do you remember about the escape?”

Cassie closed her eyes. “Tommy wasn’t happy. We were supposed to leave Jennifer there, Franz had bought her for his son. I handcuffed her to me, so Tommy had to take us both.”

Trish paused and Cassie looked at her. “Cassie, these are new memories. Was there a butterfly?”

Cassie stopped and thought about it. “No, there wasn’t.”

“Why not?”

Cassie felt a strange pain in her heart. She felt her eyes start to get glassy. “Because Becky is too weak.”

Dr. Trish moved to the couch, wrapping Cassie in a hug as the sadness exploded out of her body.

Taylor lurched and squeezed Kelcie and Jennifer’s hands. The pressure was weird on her ear, but it didn’t hurt.

“All done,” Dr. Wallace said and sat back.

Taylor touched her ears and smiled. Helen handed her a mirror. “They are cool, thanks B.”

Beatrice chuckled. “You’re welcome.”

“Who’s next?” Dr. Wallace asked, and Kelcie jumped in the chair.

Kelcie got her ears done in a matter of a couple of minutes. All the girls were now wearing earrings. Beatrice returned Helen’s phone to her, and she looked at the screen with the tracking app. She saw three small dots of different colors.

“You will have to remember the colors,” Beatrice said, and Helen nodded.

“Taylor’s green because she is my mischievous leprechaun, Jennifer’s red because she is like a little ball of fire, and Kelcie’s purple because she is a princess,” Helen said.

The girls all stared at Helen with their mouths open. Helen chuckled.

“Mom, that was so cool,” Jennifer said, hugging Helen.

Kelly looked over at Willie. “Willie, are you packed?”

Willie shook his head. “Oh no, Miss Kelly. I’m not going.”

Jennifer leaped out of Helen’s arms. “What? Willie, you have to come,” Jennifer said, walking over to stand in front of him.

Willie touched her cheek and smiled. “Baby, I would love to, but I can’t go on a boat.”

“Why not?” Jennifer said in a whining voice.

“Well, there would be a lot of vomit, and the doctor would have to knock me out the whole time. I get very nervous and shaky.”

Jennifer looked at Dr. Wallace. “Jennifer, some people are not able to be on boats.”

Jennifer buried her head in Willie’s chest. “I just got used to you being here all the time.”

Willie rubbed her back and kissed her ear. “I will be waiting for you when you get back.”

“I know but I need my Willie,” Jennifer said, crawling onto his lap.

“Baby, you will be fine. You are strong, and you have a lot of people around you who love you,” Willie said, kissing the top of her head.

“You better be here when I get back,” Jennifer said softly into Willie’s chest.

“You can count on it. I have a great apartment and a cool car; I’m not going anywhere.”

Jennifer chuckled and squeezed his arm as it wrapped around her.

Cassie wiped her eyes and pulled out of the hug from Dr. Trish.

“Cassie, why is Becky still getting weaker?”

Cassie shook her head. “I don’t know. She seemed to be healing in the dream this afternoon.”

“You had a dream during a nap?”

“Yes, we were on our beach, and some guys walked up. They were naked and excited, so it was obvious what they were going to do. I just focused and woke myself up.”

“How long were you able to sleep?”

“Mom said it was about two hours.”

Dr. Trish looked at her watch. It’s 2:00, how many naps have you had today?”

“Two.”

“Do you think you will be able to get enough rest doing that?”

“I guess we’ll see but so far so good.”

“Cassie, you realize that if you are getting memories without butterflies, you have lost your filter.”

“Yeah, I thought about that. Becky was giving me a choice but now I guess I don’t have that anymore.”

Dr. Trish nodded.

Kelly checked the timer; the meat loaf would be done in another hour. She and Helen decided they would fix a nice dinner for their last night since they weren’t sure what the food would be like on the boat. Kelly glanced over at the couch; Cassie was asleep again. She told them to wake her 30 minutes before dinner.

Travis sat on the bed as the three sexy girls flittered around his apartment---well, two of them, anyway. Kelcie was wrapped around his right arm as her friends picked out his clothes for the cruise.

“Travis, do you have any bathing suits?” Jennifer said as she dug in his dresser.

Travis chuckled. “Baby, when I got out of the joint, I wasn’t thinking much about swimming.”

Jennifer looked at him and smiled. “Well, you will just have to swim naked.”

“Yeah, that will be a huge hit.”

Jennifer snickered. “Well, it is big.”

Travis looked at the beautiful young girl and shook his head. He felt like he was dropped into nirvana. He turned and kissed Kelcie on the head.

Helen shook Cassie’s shoulder, and her daughter opened her eyes. They did not look scared, so she was happy. “Dinner’s almost ready, sweetie.”

Cassie sat up, stretched her right arm, and yawned. “Thanks mom, is Marcus back yet?”

“No baby.”

“Okay, I’ll go and see the guys.”

“The girls are over there helping Travis pack.”

“Oh, okay.”

Cassie sat and thought about her new plan. She couldn’t just barge in next door and spread her legs. Her pussy shivered at the thought of that. She leaned back onto the couch and closed her eyes.

“Is there anything I can do, baby?”

Cassie looked at her mom. She was a wonderful mom and she forgot sometimes that Tony had abused her for 20 years. Cassie frowned a little as she looked at her. What could she say to make her happy?

“No mom, I’ll be okay. Do I smell meatloaf?”

Helen smiled. “Yes, you do. We thought it would be a good last meal since we’re not sure about boat food.”

“That sounds like a great plan. Can I help with something?” Cassie stood up.

Helen realized why she was asking. “Certainly, you can help me set the table.”

Cassie and her mom set the table, and she was able to distract herself for a little while. The girls came back, pulling Travis and Willie with them. Kelly put the meatloaf on the table, and it smelled amazing. Everyone started eating, and a knock came on the door.

“Kelcie, can you get that?” Kelly said.

Cassie and Helen looked at Kelly, who smirked as Kelcie jumped up. Kelcie opened the door and saw her father standing there holding a paper bag. She was stunned, then launched herself into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist.

“Daddy, what are you doing here?”

“I came to put my daughter on a boat, they tell me.”

“Yes, daddy, I’m so excited.”

“I can tell. Do you think there’s some meatloaf for me?”

Kelcie pulled out of the hug. “Yes, I’m sorry, come in.”

John sat; curiously there was a place setting for him right next to Kelcie. Everyone ate their fill, and Kelly opened John’s bottle of wine. The girls started cleaning the kitchen, and the adults brought the wine into the living room.

“So, are you guys all packed and ready to go?” John said.

“I’m pretty sure the only one not packed is Cassie,” Kelly said, and Helen looked at her.

“Oh no! What kind of mom am I? I didn’t even think to ask,” Helen said.

Kelly chuckled. “Helen, you guys have had a lot on your plate. There’s a green suitcase in the corner of the bedroom. You just need to get with Cassie and go over what’s in it.”

Helen shook her head. “One day you are actually going to sprout wings.”

Kelly laughed. “Not sure I need wings with my new car, it pretty much flies.”

“How are the new vehicles working out? I see the card has been pretty hot at that dealership,” John said.

Helen nodded. “John, I think it’s actually a little bit of therapy for her.”

“I understand and I’m all over it. By the way, I have a date for the house. They say it will be done in three more weeks.”

Cassie walked into the room and sat on the couch beside her mom. “Finally! I think we are pretty much at capacity in here.”

John chuckled. Kelcie walked in and sat on his lap. “Daddy, I thought you were coming in the morning.”

“I thought spending the last night with my girl would be nice.”

Kelcie leaned her head into his chest. “That sounds nice. Do you have a fancy hotel room?”

“Nope.”

Kelcie sat up and looked at her father, who was smiling. “Daddy, I don’t understand.”

“You will be staying with me in our new house.”

Kelcie’s mouth dropped. She sat stunned. “What?”

“I figured I couldn’t take my baby girl away from the place where she is so happy, so I simply decided to join her. I bought a house a couple of miles away. We don’t have to leave anymore.”

“Oh daddy.” Kelcie sobbed into his chest.

Helen put her hand over her mouth and felt her eyes getting wet. Cassie hugged her arm, and she kissed her daughter on the forehead. Kelly took a sip of wine to distract herself from crying. Jennifer sniffled as she sat on Willie’s lap.
