Megan really enjoyed the Sencha Green Tea at a little café in town. “And they have these wise sayings on the tea bag paper. Life is a river ... let it flow.”
“Nice,” Emma agreed. She bought Megan a package of twenty Sencha Green teabags. But they discovered, as the days went by, that all the wise sayings were the same. The river flowed and flowed.
Last night Megan didn’t sleep well. Depressed about work. “I’ll make you some tea,” Emma offered. “You just sit on the comfy chair and rest easy.”
A few minutes later Emma was back with the tea.
“Mmm, just what I need,” Megan said, opening the packet and dipping the bag into the hot water. “You’re so good to me.”
“I try,” Emma said. “And making this tea was harder than you might imagine.”
“Oh?” questioned Megan.
“Read the wise saying,” Emma said.
“What’s the point?” Megan asked. “They’re all the same. Life is a river, blah, blah, blah. So disappointing.”
“Read the wise saying,” Emma insisted.
Megan read the saying.
She was not disappointed.
Best tea ever, they came to agree.
