He sighed, “Although she is changing her first and last name after today she will always be Annabeth to me.” His mood shifted slightly, “Annabeth has been like a sister to me and you’ve been like a brother. I’d like to ask you if it would be okay if Cathy and I named our firstborn after one of you. Leo if it’s a boy. And Annabeth if it’s a girl.”

“What? Cathy’s pregnant? Congrats man. I’d be honored. Wow,” I told my best man.

A knock came from the direction of the door and we both took our places outside. This was going to be an unusual wedding, at least for me anyway. Not that I’d know what a normal wedding was like. I’ve only seen them in movies. Since Annie had already decided she was going nude for the wedding, the women in my life all got together and convinced me I needed to go nude as well. “I hear that you asked Max out. Congratulations. I’m happy for you.” I was honest when I told her that.

May frowned as she said, “Who told you that? Never mind. Besides I should be the one to tell you congratulations, big brother.”

“What’s wrong May?” I stopped our dance and asked.

She hesitated, “I turned Maxine down. Well, I accepted at first but then I canceled the date. Please don’t ask me why. This isn’t the time to talk about it.”

I nodded a d kissed her cheek. When that dance ended Annie asked to dance with May.

I whispered in May’s ear, “So have you two gone all the way yet?”

Annie made sure that she threw the flower bouquet before leaving. And we were all surprised when May caught it.

That night Annie and I spent our time at Rikku’s new home. It would have been great if Harold wasn’t there too.
