Chapter 1
Imperial Kingdom of Khanda
Year 1992
The moonlight shone upon the grand Southern Palace as King Sen Di Khanda carefully placed Harmony—the ancient bamboo flute inscribed with cryptic symbols—into its armored glass case. As he turned the lock, a distant melody whispered through the gardens, haunting yet serene.
Unbeknownst to the king, betrayal brewed within the walls of his kingdom. His half-brother, Prince John Sen Di, had allied with disloyal royal guards. Their goal was not merely the throne but the power of Harmony itself—a power said to control time and bridge dimensions.
The tranquility shattered as gunfire erupted. The king’s personal guard fell one by one as John approached the dais.
“Brother, what madness is this?” the king demanded, unsheathing his ceremonial sword.
John sneered. “Madness? No, Majesty. This is destiny—mine, not yours.”
In a swift motion, John plunged the king’s sword into his chest. Blood stained the marble floor as King Sen collapsed, his life slipping away.
Before John could claim Harmony, the young crown prince, Arin, burst into the garden. Tears streaming, he knelt by his father’s lifeless body. “Father!”
John dismissed the boy with a mocking grin. “A child playing king? How amusing.”
Fueled by rage, Arin lifted the fallen sword. With all his strength, he struck at John, splitting Harmony in two. A bright, blinding light erupted as the flute’s power unleashed chaos. The earth trembled, and a mysterious portal opened—a swirling vortex of light and shadow.
John escaped through the portal, half of Harmony in his possession, leaving the prince behind to face a fractured world.
