Chapter 6

Mrs. Claus’s 100th birthday

It was a chilly winter evening at the North Pole, but the atmosphere inside the cosy cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Claus was warm and festive. The room was decorated with balloons and streamers in bright colours, and the smell of freshly baked cookies filled the air. It was December 25th, and today was a special day - Mrs. Claus was turning 100 years old!

Mr. Claus, also known as Santa, had planned a surprise party for his beloved wife, and all the elves and reindeer from the North Pole were invited to join in the celebration. As the clock struck midnight, Mrs. Claus blew out the candles on her cake and thanked everyone for coming. She looked radiant in her silver hair and green dress, and her sparkling eyes twinkled with joy.

“I can’t believe I’ve lived this long!” she exclaimed, hugging her husband tightly. “I owe it all to you, my dear Santa.”

Mr. Claus smiled and kissed her forehead. “You’re the one who keeps me young, my love,” he replied. “We’ve had so many wonderful years together, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in life.”

As the night went on, the guests shared stories and memories of their time with the Clauses. There were tales of Christmas Eves past, when Mrs. Claus would sneak cookies to the elves while they worked late into the night, and of how she always made sure that every child received a gift on their wish list.

At one point during the party, Mrs. Claus stood up to make a toast. “To my dearest Santa, and to all of our friends here tonight,” she said, her voice trembling with emotion. “Thank you for being a part of my life. I am truly blessed to have such loving companions.”

As the night ended, Mrs. Claus retired to her favourite armchair by the fireplace, surrounded by her loved ones. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of laughter and music filling the room, feeling grateful for another year of happiness and joy. And as she drifted off to sleep, she knew that she would wake up the next morning to continue living her best life alongside her beloved Santa.
