Chapter 10

After Santa Jack defeated Krampus and turned him back to human, he decided to give him a chance to redeem himself. He offered Krampus a job as his assistant, and to Jack’s surprise, Krampus accepted.

At first, it was a bit rocky. Krampus had a hard time adjusting to the modern world and kept trying to use his hands to open doors and to turn on lights. But with time, he began to learn and grow. He proved to be an asset, using his knowledge of the naughty list to help Santa deliver presents to all the good boys and girls.

One year, as Christmas Eve approached, Santa Jack and Krampus were busy preparing for the big night. Krampus oversaw the naughty list, making sure that all the names were correct and that no one had been overlooked. Santa Jack was busy in the workshop, building toys and checking his own list twice.

As the night wore on, Santa Jack and Krampus worked tirelessly, delivering present after present. But as the night ended, Jack noticed something strange. Krampus seemed to be taking a little longer than usual to deliver each present.

“Hey, what’s going on?” Santa Jack asked, as he watched Krampus struggle to deliver a particularly large present.

“Oh, it’s just this one,” Krampus said, grumbling. “I can’t seem to fit it down the chimney.”

Jack’s eyes widened as he realized what was happening. “Krampus, you’ve been putting the presents in the wrong houses!”

Krampus looked sheepish. “Oops.”

Jack sighed. “Well, I guess we have some deliveries to make tomorrow.”

But as they worked to correct Krampus’s mistakes, Jack couldn’t help but laugh. Despite his mischievous ways, Krampus had grown to be a valuable member of the team. And as they finished up their deliveries and headed back to the North Pole, Jack knew that he had found a true friend in the most unlikely of places.

It was Christmas Eve and Santa Jack was busy preparing for his big night. He had a list of all the good boys and girls, and he was checking it twice. But as he was getting ready to take off in his sleigh, he heard a knock at the door. It was Krampus, the horned half-goat, half-demon who was known for punishing naughty children.

“Hey, Santa Jack, I need your help,” Krampus said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I’ve been having a bit of trouble delivering presents to the right houses. I keep getting lost and ending up in the wrong places.”

Santa Jack was taken aback. He had always relied on Krampus to handle the naughty list, but it seemed that even Krampus needed a little help sometimes.

“Well, hop on my sleigh and I’ll help you out,” Santa Jack said, gesturing to his sleigh.

Krampus climbed aboard and they took off into the night sky. As they flew over the houses, Krampus would point out the correct addresses and Santa Jack would drop the presents down the chimneys. But as they were delivering the presents, Santa Jack noticed something strange. The houses all looked the same, and the presents were all the same too.

“Hey, Krampus, I think there’s something fishy going on here,” Santa Jack said, his brow furrowed.

Krampus looked at him with a mischievous grin. “Oh, you’ll see. Just keep delivering the presents.”

As they continued their deliveries, Santa Jack started to notice a pattern. All of the houses were owned by the same person, and all of the presents were exactly the same. It was then that he realized that Krampus had been playing a trick on him.

“Krampus, you sneaky devil!” Santa Jack exclaimed, laughing. “You’ve been delivering the same present to all of these houses!”

Krampus chuckled and patted Santa Jack on the back. “Well, someone’s got to keep things interesting around here.”

Santa Jack couldn’t help but laugh along with him. It was a strange Christmas Eve, but at least he had Krampus by his side to keep things lively. And who knows, maybe next year Krampus will finally learn how to deliver presents to the right houses.
