I actually love living out in the country. At first, I didn’t think I would. I certainly didn’t move out here with my Uncle Dan by choice.
About four months ago, I was still living with my mom and stepdad in a fairly large city. My uncle pulled me down from the porch swing and led me back inside the house.
“Let’s see here,” he thought aloud. “Why don’t you come over here and sit on this chair?” He pulled one of his wood dining room chairs out into the middle of the room. I followed his direction and sat down.
“Should I change clothes, Uncle Dan? I wasn’t planning on having my picture taken today.” I was wearing a small white t-shirt and a very short pair of denim shorts. “Are you kidding?! You look amazing! I can’t wait to photograph you!” My uncle’s enthusiasm was contagious, and I found myself genuinely looking forward to this impromptu photo session.
