Sarah’s dream:

She had the same dream again. A nightmare really. Ever since she was eleven she had had the same reoccurring dream.

She was running down the hallway of her school totally naked. None of the teachers seemed to notice her, but the other kids laughed at and made fun of her. It always seemed to be so bright in the hallway. Brighter than usual anyway. In the dream she always tries to hide in a bathroom, but someone always finds her. Usually it is a teacher that finds her but sometimes it is another student. Normally, when a teacher finds her, her clothes somehow magically reappear on her and she is clothed once again. But that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes it is another student that finds her and when that happens she usually doesn’t get her clothes back, or at least not right away.

If it’s a girl who finds her the other girl helps her to get dressed. If it is a boy who finds her she is usually pulled into a group of other boys. That’s normally the point where she wakes up, so she never finds out what happens next. She never told anyone about the dreams, not even her best friend. She didn’t even write it down in the journal she kept. Even now several years after the reoccurring dream started, she didn’t know what it was about.

(Okay let me tell you about Sarah.) Sarah has always been a precocious girl. She learned how to ride a bike long before any of her friends. Growing up she always seemed to be the tallest girl in her class. It seemed like as soon as the other girls in her class caught up to her in height, she’d have another growth spirt and leave them behind again. Just before her eleventh birthday her previously flat chest was no longer flat. It now had two cone shaped bumps sticking out. Her privates began to sprout hair as well. So did her legs and underarms. It was quite embarrassing to her to be in a locker room with a bunch more other girls and be so hairy. On night, while she was bathing, she decided to do something about it. She had seen her father shaving his face numerous times, and was thankful not to have that problem as well. Borrowing her father’s razor and shaving cream, she proceeded to shave off all of the hair below her neck. Now she looked like all of the other girls in her gym class. She continued to shave everything below her neck even after some of the other girls began to grow hair in the same areas. She liked the feeling of being clean and avoided the problems some of the other girls had, namely some of the hair around their privates got caught in them pads during their monthly cycles.

A dream becomes reality:

She had just had her birthday a few weeks ago and was approaching the end of the school year she was walking down the hallway at school, when she suddenly tripped and fell. What happened next she really didn’t know but she awoke outside of the back door of the school, totally naked. She didn’t even have her shoes on.

At first she thought it was just a prank and someone would bring her her clothes back in just a minute. The ground past the concrete on which she awoke was graveled and nearly impossible to walk on.

She saw a couple of boys walking toward her across the gravel. There was nowhere to hide where she was, so she opened the door and ran into the school to find a place to hide. She had been taught from the time she was a little girl not to let anyone see her naked, with exception of her doctor or her parents. The first door she came to was the girls bathroom. She tried to open it but it was locked. She tried the next door but it was also locked as well. Panicked she ran down the hallway towards the gym, randomly trying to open doors as she went, all were locked. She looked over her shoulder just as she rounded the corner that led to the gym. She saw the boys as they turned the other corner heading in her direction, but didn’t think they had seen her or at least not yet. She burst through the doors and into the gym. Luckily for her there was no one in the gym. Frantically she tried each of the doors she came to but all seemed to be locked. Finally she found one open. She rushed in.
