Chapter 5
Mike showed up and told us how to open and close the vault. I had a hard time but Linda had none. When the couple arrived they loved the layout and Tim, the coin broker started after seeing the program he just used it. Some of the coins were one of a kind. Only estimated value could be used. Finally, he accepted the amount. Vickie, the gemologist, on the other hand, was so confused because some of these stones were no longer available. Three of them were a myth from folklore. Except for the three, 61 million for the coins and gems accepted and we told them more was to come. We ate and they took control of the items and left. I called Marty and gave him the number in code for the items and he could not believe it. Also no Island by that name but one close by. I gave him the GPS and told him we will talk later. Tom sat down with Linda and Jill about the 61 million dollars and was asked what 61 million there was only 28 here that was left because some were bonds and transferred other wire transfers and moved them to Bank of America-Bowery and Chase in New York. Some moved to cover dock and lease on the apartments by the dock. All I said was oh. We moved a few million to OMG to handle the costs incurred. We are using the bank that Nick had and they are covering the transfers over 9500 dollars so IRS doesn’t catch on. “Do we need to go to N.Y. to see Ron? Do you want to come,” Tom asked. Both said yes, (Shopping Spree). We got the next flight to JFK Airport.
Upon arriving at the docks we saw Ron tied up and departing with luggage. I told him to wait for customs and he said he couldn’t and gave them to Jill and Linda to take them somewhere. Next, I notice part of the Brooklyn Bridge standing on the dock to find out that was Arron, ex-seal and a new employee. Customs showed and Ron and Arthur, the new boat person, went over what they brought and the sealed hull area by Interpol. They verified, broke the seal checked quickly and left. Linda came out and Ron said he found that stuff by the engines in the walls. Quick count ½ million. Ron hugged us and Carl started Arron and the boys to unload. I said hi to Arthur and he said he was a good mate and he took care of him out of what he found. A call came in from Marty and he asked if it was possible to get help. When?
Marty said, “As soon as possible I don’t like the feeling I’m getting.”
I asked “Andrea” and he said, “No, not sure but something else. It will be 3 days but I would rather be sure than not prepared.” I told him we would leave tomorrow and meet up with him. Tom told him to dump water and go to the new GPS. I got Ron and relayed the message. He started to find a boat, get the crew, Arron to get the weapons there. We left Fury II to Arthur and Carl and found him some help I told Linda and Jill to get ready and book the same private jet we had as everything was done.
Tom was a little worried. He never saw Marty upset like this before. Hopefully, it was nothing but he didn’t think so. Linda got the pilot and asked Trinidad or Barbados? And was told either was okay for him. Eight passengers and a giant. He just laughed. Ron found an 80 ft sailing Cat with 2 engines that would do 30 knots. Flight time was 5 hours so, the pilot asked for 7 AM tomorrow. Once there Arron wanted us all armed and will handle it. Ron wanted the boat going no later than 2 PM. I called ahead for service, food, water, fuel, no chef or any other persons on board needed.
Seven came early, everyone was at the airport. The pilot wanted to tie Arron on the outside, we all laughed. Liftoff was at 7:15 AM, Carl said to stay in touch as he was also worried. We touched down at 11:41 AM and found transportation to the harbor and everything was ready to go. Arron’s Packages were there ready to load and cash was paid from Ron’s boat. At 1:10 the boat was exiting the harbor. A call to Marty for position made us happy. Everything was good but something was not right. Ron asked a code word from them traveling before and he answered correctly. Ron would calculate the time of the meeting shortly. I talked to Andrea, all okay except Marty was not normal. It was approximately 2 days to meet him. The following day they checked six times all day but everything was okay.
In the morning we checked again and was almost on them. Two hours later we meet up with them. Medically we checked the 2 and all was okay. Now Marty started to calm down but not fully. Linda said she was right with Marty that something was not okay.
About 1 hour later, 2 small boats caught up with them to intercept. Arron thought it was funny and sunk both boats and made fish food of the crew. The camera following the boat was shot down and we left. Marty said it was the second one, that Andrea took care of the first one and that’s why he didn’t worry. But we would have run out of ammo and wouldn’t have been able to outrun them. Thanks for coming and with that we relieved Marty and Andrea and headed toward Trinidad. Tom told Marty and Andrea to get some rest, 4 hours later they came alive and felt much better. Tom and Marty sat down with the first box the GPS was one of the old ones, but the papers inside were different like a map mural. Jill pointed out that it looked like the small chest back wall. The steamers could have used the paper on them because of the size of them. The second GPS was a new one the area was not in a normal spot. This is near the Isle Of Tortuga, north of Caracas. The island Marty asked about is in that area. Once we got there we would ask about the island, 2 days back but that’s okay.
We moved almost everyone to the rental Cat. For a party, while we got the trunks and opened them. The light one was jewelry, candlesticks, broaches, and other bar metal at the bottom possibly silver or platinum and also a hand-drawn map very odd. The second chest was bars of gold but double thick, also 1 more GPS but different. Tom called his gold broker about a pickup at sea with a small Helo. He said it was possible and will call you right back. Twenty minutes later he called back and said no problem and would see us tonight. Told him he could land on the mini pad on the yacht also had 2 other metals, said it would be right at dark.
