Chapter 14
We went inside and sat on the couch. There weren’t many people there as many had gone home for the weekend. With no football here, there wasn’t much to hold people on the campus over weekends in autumn. Many left Friday after their classes. We sat down on a couch in the common room. There were only three others in the room and none of them were close to us.
Agnes came into my arms and kissed me. I helped. We finally broke the kiss panting a bit. It had become impassioned. I think she enjoyed it. I know I did.
We came up for air. Agnes said, “Stay here. I’ll be right back.”
“Uh, okay.” She hopped up and took the elevator upstairs. A couple of minutes later, she came out of the elevator wearing a pair of short shorts and a tee shirt with flop-flops. She straddled me this time and we kissed again.
When we came up for air, she whispered, “I wanted us like this but couldn’t in a dress. I’ve wanted to get like this all evening. Eric, I have no resistance to you but do have a slight bit of modesty left.”
“I love you, Agnes. I simply want you with me.”
“I love you, too, Eric. That’s all we need.”
We kissed some more before parting to meet my parents for breakfast. I had sweet dreams of my beautiful redhead. I woke in the morning. Carl was gone, of course. There was nothing to hold him on campus this weekend. He had left after his last class Friday afternoon. I went into the shower room to clean up for the day. I dressed in jeans, pull-over button shirt, and sneakers. I knew Saturdays with my folks. It wasn’t a fancy time. That would come again tonight. I met Agnes who was dressed similarly at the front of our dorms and gave her a lingering, though chaste kiss.
“It was quiet in my dorm last night, Eric. Most everyone had gone home for the weekend.”
I grinned. “I could keep you company.”
“You could but you shouldn’t. You in bed all night next to me is too much temptation.”
“I’m a very still sleeper.”
“That may be but I sleep nude.” I now had an erection. I’m pretty sure that was her plan when she made that statement. It worked. She grinned at me.
Fortunately, my parents soon drove up and I handed Agnes into the back seat and went around to get in. Other than friendly “good mornings,” the drive was in silence. Agnes and I held hands in the back. Dad’s car had a back cushion in the middle in back which made sitting next to each other impossible.
We went to a chain restaurant for breakfast and had another great meal. My parents continued to question us politely finding out that neither dorm had many people in them over the weekend. Mom said, “With no big weekend sports, I guess there isn’t much to keep people on campus on weekends.” She smiled. “That means you can come home weekend after this next one.”
Agnes responded. “We could do that. Next weekend, he must face my parents. Actually, if you weren’t here, we would have gone there this weekend.” She sighed. “I miss the farm. It’s quiet though there’s always something to do.”
We ate heartily since the chain was having all you can eat this Saturday. Their food was good and I stoked up. I figured we would walk the morning away and maybe into the afternoon. I enjoyed being with my parents and was glad that Agnes seemed to enjoy them, too. It made for a warm, comfortable time. After breakfast, we went for a walking tour of the college including where the film would be shown this evening.
We had our arms around each other’s waists as we walked. A student in our English class was there. Agnes asked, “Are you planning on the film tonight?”
“Yes. Wow!” He looked at me noticing our arms’ placements. “You are a lucky guy!”
Agnes smiled. “We both are.” She gave him a second to digest that. “We’re going to be attending with Eric’s parents. We’ve been having a fun time.”
“I see. The flick tonight is a good one with Taylor and Burton but not ‘Cleopatra.’ It’s a lesser known one but good.” He seemed to shake himself. “I had asked Tracy but she went home this weekend. I’ll try again.”
“Do. I know her and she’s looking for a good guy since I’ve laid claim to Eric.”
“You two look good together.”
I finally found my voice and said, “Thanks.”
We continued our walk and went to the cafeteria for lunch. There weren’t many people around the campus this weekend. Dad paid for two meals while Agnes and I used our meal cards. We sat a table for four and enjoyed our meal.
After we ate, Mom and Dad were returning to the hotel before we came there to meet them for supper. We would clean up and meet them. They left and we sat in the common room of Agnes’ dorm on a sofa. It was comfortable to just enjoy ourselves quietly. We hadn’t been together long but it had been intense. Agnes was snuggled in to my side lying along the sofa’s cushions. The R.A. came out and giggled. “You two look like a couple of old marrieds.”
Agnes chuckled. “Give us some time for that. It’s a matter of timing.”
I chimed in, “We’re having a good time, too.”
The R.A. smiled, “So it would seem, so it would seem.”
We napped there on the sofa though woke in plenty of time. Agnes levered her body up to face me. “We sleep together well.”
