Chapter 6

“Boyd, I want you to help me convince Kendra to come back with us today – or at least as soon as she can get away. I feel like she’ll be a very staunch ally in whatever we decide to do. We have so many things we need to be working on and we’ll need her assistance as soon as we can get things lined up. I want to call my grad students early today also, so we can get them out here. They can get the shop building set up to build a prototype generator. We may need to make modifications once we see it operate, and put an actual load on it. We’ll have our own power supply out here at the ranch once we get them into production.”

“You’re talking about the size of a small 4500 Watt portable unit to begin with, right?”

“Yes. I want to buy a small generator such as that and try converting the one or two cylinder engine from gasoline to the new fuel source.”

“I have a 4500 Watt Honda unit at the shop now. Just use it.”

“Great. If I know my grad students, they’ll have it converted in a matter of weeks ... Maybe just days if we can figure out a way to build a fuel cell that will connect to the intake manifold.”

“Adam, have you ever thought about maybe building a small turbine engine to run the generator? Less noise and less moving parts.”

Boyd, you get a pay raise for that idea! You may have just hit upon the answer to the engine of the future for auto’s as well as the transportation business. Powered with this new fuel, the turbine engine would outlast a six cylinder, internal combustion engine at least fifty to one!”

“Great. We still have a long way to go, but we’ll have fun developing these new ideas.”

Savana and Andrea came into the kitchen and both hugged and kissed me. They each hugged Adam and kissed him on his cheek, before starting breakfast.

Adam asked. “Where are the cousins? They need to be early risers like the rest of us.”

“They’re in the shower. We told them we were all going up to Vance Air Force Base and they were in a rush to get showered and eat breakfast,” Andrea answered.

“Here they come now,” Savana said, and I turned in my chair to see them.

They were both wearing t-shirts, and that was all... I knew this because I could see the bottom of their butts as they walked around the table.

“Boyd, Adam – meet Constance and Lenora Featherstone.

Connie – Nora, this is Boyd and this is Adam,” Savana introduced us as Adam and I stood to greet the tall slender girls with huge, protruding breasts under their t-shirts. I knew for sure they were only wearing shirts now, I could now see the four tiny nipples standing erect beneath the material.

We shook hands and the girls started talking. They weren’t shy, and as soon as we were introduced they were laughing and asking questions.

“Mr. Boyd, is it true that you can really fly?” Connie asked.

“Yes and we were just as surprised as you, when we found that out.”

“Will you show us how you do that? I think that would be the most thrilling thing a human could experience,” Nora added.

“Well, it is pretty thrilling. We’re going to be pushed for time today, but maybe I could give each of you a ride later.”

Connie grinned as she spoke, “Yes! We’d love that. Savana and Andrea told us that it feels so good, it makes them have orgasms repeatedly.”

“Then you’ll both have something to look forward to, won’t you?”

We ate breakfast quickly, talking sparingly until we were finished. Connie and Nora cleared the table and stove, putting the dishes in the dishwasher. Savana and Andrea went back to the bedroom to get showers and dress for the day. When they were dressed, the girls watched as I pulled my flight suit on.

The cousins wanted to take Custer with them in the van and I agreed as long as they kept him on a leash and watched him closely. When they left in the van, I flew down over the lake and across the river. I flew over each of the oilfields and saw the line of tankers waiting to fill – with a caravan of loaded tankers leaving out.

Adam had looked up the call letters of the small plane I helped land. He gave me the name and address of the man it was registered to. I wanted to see if they were home and maybe try to explain to them how important it was that they keep silent about the incident, for now anyway. They live in Ardmore, south of Oklahoma City, so I flew in that general direction. Adam had explained the GPS system on my flight suit and schooled me briefly on it. I punched in the address he’d given me and the map popped up.

This is really neat. I flew directly to the large ranch house on the outskirts of Ardmore. There was a grass airstrip and a small hangar, but no plane.

I saw two cars and one pickup, so I was pretty sure they were home. I was greeted by two black Labs that were more interested in being my friend than treating me as an intruder. Before I reached the back door, I saw the man and woman walk out to see why the dogs were barking.

“Hello, I think you may remember me?” I raised my face-shield and spoke as they stepped out.

“We sure do. Won’t you come in?” The woman said as I walked up to them.

“I am Boyd, by the way.” I stuck my hand out.

“Mr. Boyd, I’m Martin Gallagher and this is my wife Margaret. Marty’s in the house and I know he’ll be thrilled you’re here. Please come this way.”

Margaret Gallagher turned to me and said, “Mr. Boyd, I want to thank you once again for what you did for us the other day. I still feel sick at my stomach each time I think of what may have happened.”

“I’m just glad I was near enough to help,” I told her.

Martin yelled up the stairs, “Marty, come downstairs! We have a guest here to see you!”

“Would you like something to drink Mr. Boyd?” Margaret asked.

“No, thank you. Actually, I don’t have much time. I have an appointment soon and I just wanted to stop by and ask all of you once again to keep quiet about the incident with your plane, for a few more days at least.”

“Rest assured Mr. Boyd, we have told no one. But Marty sure has been talking about you. Here he comes now,” Martin said.

Marty ran to me with his hand out, “Wow, it’s Superman! You did come to see us! Thanks! I wish you’d take me for a ride ... that is if you can.”

“I think we can do that, but I need you to promise me you’ll keep all of this quiet for a few more days. I’ll give you a call soon and maybe one day you, your Mom and Dad can drive over to my place west of Oklahoma City and spend the day.”

“Yes Sir, Superman. You won’t have to worry about me talking until you give me the okay.”

“Thanks Marty. I knew I could count on you. If your Mom and dad will give us the OK, I’ll take you on a ride you’ll never forget.”

Martin Gallagher told me. “Mr. Boyd, we could never refuse him the opportunity to fly with you. We’ve already trusted you with our lives and I know Marty will relive this day forever.”

“Lets go Marty,” I said and handed him his flight goggles.

“Come watch us, Mom.

“Dad will you get the camera and take some pictures? So I’ll have them when Superman gives me the OK to tell my friends about this.”

“Sure Marty. I’ll get my camera and be right there.”

When Martin came out with his camera, Marty was bouncing off the ground, ready to fly. I bent down to let him hook one arm around my neck and we were off the ground in an instant. I stopped just a few feet up and Marty waved back to his parents as they took pictures. Then we flew over the tree tops and back down past where they stood in the garden.

“Go high Superman!” Marty yelled, his voice cracking with excitement.

We flew up to five thousand feet and I showed him my altimeter.

“Wow, we’re a mile high, Superman. Can we go faster now?”

“Hang on Marty. We’re going for a real ride now,” I told him as I flew higher, then went into a dive that took us to the ground. I leveled off and flew over their home. After that I went vertical for a mile and a half and flew toward Oklahoma City. In minutes we were there and Marty was ecstatic.

I pointed at two F-16s coming right toward us, and immediately took us into a dive. After they broke formation to follow, I went vertical then banked to look back down at them.

“Wow Superman, that was wild,” Marty said as we flew higher and turned to head back toward Ardmore.

We settled easily to the brick walk in the garden, and Martin was taking pictures with his camera.

“Thanks Superman. That was an incredible ride. I sure hope we see you again soon.”

“You will Marty. I’ll call you in a week or so. I have a meeting to attend now, or we’d fly some more,” I told.

I shook hands with all three of them and was gone with a rustling of tree leaves. The black Labs were still barking and running.

“Boyd?” Adam called.

“Yes. Are you there now?”

“We’ll be at the main gate in five minutes – just running a communications check.”

“Give me a call. I’ll be there in less than two minutes. I’m in Ardmore.”

“They’re on the phone now and here comes Kendra inside a personnel carrier full of Brass. Talk to you in a few minutes.”

“Tell them to clear the airspace within a hundred mile radius. I don’t want to be shot down.”

“Will do.”

I circled wide, to the east of Tinker Air Force Base, not wanting to make those fly-boys mad at me for constantly stepping on their toes. I flew northeast toward Tulsa and then got the call from Adam.

“Boyd, you now have clearance. Not an aircraft for a hundred miles, horizontal or vertical. From now on, you are Eagle One – I am Eagle Base – The Pentagon is Eagle Nest, on military frequency only. I have already given General Langston a transceiver.”

“Got it Eagle Base, which hangar?”

“One-four-zero-one. They told me the numbers are on the roofs.”

“I’ll be there in one minute ... or less, Eagle Base.”

“Where are you now?”

“I flew up to have a look at Tulsa.”

“See you soon, Eagle One.”

Fifty-one seconds later, I went into a dive, banking to enter the open doorway of the hangar.

As I flew through the doorway I saw everyone standing in the center of the big empty building. I set down right next to Savana. Nora and Connie were jumping up and down, clapping their hands and Custer was barking his welcome.

Those cousins have extremely large breasts, and evidently – they do not own bras.

Kendra stepped over to me and began introducing the dignitaries. “Mr. Boyd — this is Mr. Brighton, Director of the CIA, and his Deputy Director, Mr. Cofield. This is General Langston, Head of The Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.

“This is General Calderon, Commander here at Vance Air Force base, and this is Mr. Joseph Banner, Vice President of the United States,” Kendra said as she took me down the line of dignitaries.

There were more people standing behind these men - officers and upper echelon members of our military. They were standing at parade rest. I also noticed the Men in Black who stood at parade rest across the open doorway. There was another group of Men in Black in a half circle behind where we stood.

“Mr. Boyd, what we have just witnessed was the most amazing feat by a human, I have ever seen in my lifetime. Will you please tell us exactly how you do this, before we go out for the demonstrations Ms. Solomon and Professor Richards have planned for us ... We’ve shut down the entire base, there are no camera’s except the ones you see here. We will record this as well as take still photos,” General Langston said.

“Sir, I have no idea how to explain this, but when we get down to the details, I’m hoping it will become clear to you and your men. Adam told me you would have doctors here today to record my vitals as well as his, Savana’s and Andrea’s.”

“That is correct. We have Major Branch, Chief Medical Officer on the base, and three of his nurses here. If you will allow us, we’ll start with you so you can get on with the demonstrations.”

General Langston looked at me, smiling as he spoke. “You have each of us holding our breath to see you fly once more.”

“Major Branch, if you and your nurses will take Mr. Boyd into your exam room, we’ll get this show on the road,” General Calderon spoke to his medical team.

I walked with the major and his nurses to the framed canvas exam room which looked more like a large dressing room in a clothing store. The exam room was set up in the middle of the hangar, the top was open but the side flaps closed behind us when we entered.

Major Branch told me, “Mr. Boyd, would you mind stripping your flight suit to your waist, it will make our exam much easier and faster.”

I unzipped, and loosened the Velcro flaps to pull the suit off my shoulders and down my arms, all the way to my waist. In no time, there were three nurses working on me, taking my temperature, blood pressure, pulse, checking my respiration.

“You are a fine physical specimen Mr. Boyd, you may zip up now,” Major Branch said as he looked at the chart.

“Sir, we need to weigh you and measure your height,” Lieutenant Barker said, as I read her brass name plate.

“Sure,” I said and stepped on the scales.

“Two hundred pounds even.” She barked, as she pointed to a pole in the center with a rule in feet and inches painted on it.

I stood with my back rigid and straight as she marked the spot over my head. Her breast was pushed hard into my forearm. I never moved and she didn’t either as I looked at her and smiled.

“Six-one.”

“I’ve grown three inches,” I remarked.

I knew I was 5’ 10” and weighed 185 when we took all our vitals the first day Adam and Andrea were with us.

“I’ve put on fifteen pounds too.”

“You’re still a growing boy,” Lieutenant Barker said.

As I walked back out to the circle of military and CIA officials standing in the hangar, they were anxious to get on with the demonstration.

“Boyd, I’ve suggested to General Langston to have your speed marked by radar. If you’ll make a few passes along the runway, east and west in front of the tower, they will check your speed,” Adam said.

General Calderon took the radio transceiver from his aide and spoke into it.

“Base Commander to control tower.”

Yes Sir.”

“We will start the speed tests shortly, are you positive we have secured airspace within one hundred miles?”

Yes Sir. Not a thing moving ... Military – commercial – civilian ... or – otherwise, Sir.”

“Mr. Boyd, we’re ready. We’ll be in position mid-way of the main east west runway.”

“Yes Sir. I’ll be looking for you. I hope Adam told you to wear ear protection.”

“Yes, we have ear protection for everyone, including your group.”

Kendra walked with me to the front door of the hangar as the others climbed into the waiting personnel carriers. I looked back to see Savana and Andrea talking and waving hands animatedly with Lieutenant Barker. Connie and Nora were leading Custer to a personnel carrier and quickly they were all loaded. With a roar, the vehicles started and were driven out the door.

“I wish I were flying with you, Boyd,” Kendra said.

“Then come home with us today, Kendra. Adam and I have talked, and we want you to be part of what we have. You’ll love being involved in the things we’ve planned. We’ll need a person like you, with the right connections. Besides, you look as good today as you did when we met.”

Kendra put her hand on my arm and looked at me.

“Are you sure Boyd? I really do want to be a part of what you and Adam have told me. But are you sure?”

“If you want to be a part of this, then come home with us today. That is if you aren’t committed elsewhere.”

“No commitments, no obligations ... I’m coming with you Boyd. I’ve always thought the world of Adam. If he were able to have children, I would have been with him years ago, despite his affliction.”

“I will give you babies and they will be yours and Adam’s. He will love you for that.”

“Will you make love to me flying?”

“I will, and you’ll have babies within a month.”

“What about Savana and Andrea?”

“They love high-flying orgasms too. They’ll be happy for you.”

“Where will the two Indian girls fit in?”

“They will be baby sitters and mom’s-assistants.”

“They look at you with much more interest than that.”

“Then they may fly-high with me one day also.”

“I’ll be there today, Boyd.”

“Thanks Kendra, we need you.”

“And I am so ready, Boyd.”

“Hold that thought...” I took off in a flash.

I glanced back to see the military vehicles pulling off to the side of the wide, main east-west runway. I was pumped about Kendra going back to the ranch with us today. She’s a very sexy woman. I wonder why she never married? Maybe she did and it wouldn’t work with her job. Kendra isn’t just a woman, she’s a force, and she’ll be a major force for us to have on our team.

Upon leaving the front of the hangar – I went vertical – soaring three miles straight up. When I turned to see the air base to the west and far below, my heart was pounding. I wanted this to be my best airshow yet ... The best airshow ever, at Vance Air Force Base. To ensure I would appear on the base radar, I pulled my Kevlar helmet and face mask off, then stuffed them inside the flap on my chest...

As I started my dive, I kicked it into another gear ... I was there and gone, in a millisecond. Glancing at my airspeed indicator, I was well over seven thousand knots. I was really pumped as I looked back to the east at the Air base in the distance. I flew vertical and went into a wide hammerhead turn to make my second run. As I passed the crowd of spectators this time, each of them fell to the ground.
