Trapped
After years of being trapped
Inside a globe made of glass
To perform was the norm
As a ballerina spinning around
Only one toe touching the ground
Held to a perfect form
Stolen was the poor lass
Until one day something snapped
The jewel that held her entrapped
The spell finally broken but alas
The glass cracked that held back a firestorm
Fear that she may be cast down
She grabbed the jewel with a frown
prayed to the moon goddess as she had sworn
Who’s power and light gave her a pass
When her prison was finally scrapped
