Chapter 55: Glenda Harper’s Confession

Jessie Harper was staring hard at her own mother trying to formulate her own response to what she was hearing from the woman’s lips. Eventually she said, “So mom ... you mean ... I mean ... um ... I had no idea you knew all about this stuff and ... and ... and I just don’t know what to say. I thought...”

“You thought I was just an out of touch mother like all the others you see and you assume that they just don’t get modern life!”

Mrs Harper was laughing a bit as she said this then added another bombshell that left Jessie completely speechless.

“And there is another thing I haven’t told you about either, my dearest daughter. I bumped into Mrs Terrence the other day at the supermarket. We hadn’t seen each other for quite some time and ended up having a coffee together just to catch up on each others latest gossip. Mothers ARE permitted to do that you know! Anyway, don’t ask me how it came up because I don’t know, but it did. Kate’s mother told me all about her husband and her son becoming Certified Nudists - something I think you failed to mention, Jessie. She also told me all about their own Family Sex sessions and how much you were enjoying being a part of them. I already knew all about Family Sex and things like that from my own research after that church meeting we had where we all decided to let you guys come here. My mother’s intuition had already told me that you were involved in something like that somewhere but I decided not to press the issue. You are becoming a young woman now, my dear and I didn’t want to interfere in that process and push you away from me. I also know that these things usually always make themselves known at the proper time. I also know that every generation is different from the previous generation and must learn to deal with new ideals and changing social norms that are unique to their own age group. Public Nudity and things like Family Sex are all just a part of the changing social norms your generation has to wrestle with and I know I am more than happy to let nature take its course and be there as a mother and part of a church group that must also be there on the front line to help when needed.”
