“Oh, SHIT!”
“Oh, it’s you Jessie. Sorry for swearing but you nearly scared me half to death! I thought I was completely alone in here.”
Polly Legett was still sitting on one of the beds in the Communal Dormitory of Camp Starkers as she craned her neck around to see who had just come in through the door behind her. She also still had all her clothes on which was meant to be against the rules of the camp. The Communal Dormitory and its facilities - including the swimming pool - were for naked campers only.
“Sorry, Polly” said Jessie in a rather subdued voice. “I didn’t mean to startle you. I’ve been looking all over for you and didn’t expect to find you in here of all places! I only came in because the gate was open then I saw you through the window. Does anyone else know you are in here?”
“I don’t think so” said Polly. “I don’t even know why I am in here. One minute I was reading my notes and getting ready to follow you guys down to the canoes then the next minute I find myself sitting in here all in a daze!”
Nobody said anything for a minute or two as they both looked around the large room filled with twenty beds. This main complex housed another four such rooms giving it a sleeping capacity of about one hundred or more if you included a few of the smaller side rooms with only one or two beds in them.
“Have you looked around the rest of the building yet?” asked Jessie.
“No, not yet” replied Polly. “I just came in here and sat down where I’m sitting now. It’s all just so much nicer than the Male and Female Dormitories we are using at present. I guess they are trying to keep the best for those brave enough to do the naked thing - a sort of carrot in front of the nose I guess.”
“I suppose so” said Jessie in a still rather muted tone that had just a little touch of awe about it. Then she added, “Do you ... do you ... do you think we should take our clothes off before we have a proper look around? I mean, we are meant to be all nude in here. Would they really mind if we weren’t naked?”
Both girls gave a nervous swallow as they looked at each other then looked up in horror as they heard someone else coming in through the same door they had come through. Seconds later there were three women in the room all staring at each other ... Polly Legett, Jessie Harper and Sonika Jharm.
Sonika looked at both girls then said, “I thought I saw you come this way, Jessie. And I see you found Polly. So, what do you girls think? Pretty swish in here, isn’t it!”
