THE WINTERSMITH CHRONICLES
One young man. An extraordinary fortune. A determination to do good. And consequences nobody could have imagined.
Paul Robertson never set out to change the world. At twenty-one, he’s already experienced extraordinary wealth, devastating loss, unexpected love and the discovery that even the best intentions can lead to terrible mistakes.
Now he’s looking towards the future.
Through Wintersmith Holdings, Paul is building a business empire founded on a simple belief: wealth should be used to make people’s lives better. From saving jobs and supporting local businesses to investing in property and helping others realise their ambitions, he’s determined to make a positive difference. But every investment creates new relationships. Every decision has consequences. And not everyone agrees on what making the world a better place actually means.
Across the Atlantic, Paul’s friend Carly Williams is finding fame as country-music sensation Kayla Valentine. As her career grows, her fans begin to discover the extraordinary young Englishman who has played such an important part in her life.
And soon, the worlds of business, music, celebrity, social media and politics begin to collide.
For Paul, his girlfriend Lana, Carly and the people drawn into their lives, the distinction between private intentions and public perceptions becomes increasingly difficult to maintain.
Because doing the right thing is one thing.
*Convincing the world you’ve done the right thing is something else entirely.*
The Wintersmith Chronicles continues the story begun in The Paul Robertson Saga, exploring wealth, responsibility, friendship, love, loyalty and the unforeseen consequences of trying to do good in an increasingly connected world.
To fully understand the characters and their relationship, it’s best to read the five books of The Paul Robertson Saga and the companion novels Just Carly, What the World Saw, and The View From the Cello Section.
In addition, it may help to have read some of the other Westmouthshire Novels, but it is not essential. Chloë Goodman (Kissed by a Rose) and Will Brown (Eternally & Evermore) both have significant supporting roles.
