Preface

The Axeman universe was created in 2020 by Shaddoth and gave us a world almost but not quite identical to ours. In this world millions of people aged between 15 and 29 see visions of medieval weapons and when they touch the weapons they feel the pain of every old injury. The Weapons as they become known are able to enter the shimmering Portals that appear a week later. This is the story of one such Weapon and the team he builds.

Thank you for taking a chance on a new author, all feedback will be gratefully received. Unlike the other stories in this universe this one is set in the UK and as such is written in the King’s English, it also contains significant amounts of British slang, some Scottish dialect and British military phrases all of which may differ significantly from what you are used to so I have provided a glossary below, however if a word or phrase is unfamiliar to you please let me know and I will update it.
