Chapter 1
Rem BlueRose, the 3rd princess of the BlueRose kingdom.
Born within a world with Swords and Magic
A world with Hero’s and Demon Lord’s
Rem, who was born as the third princess could not become queen of her country.
However she still needed to be teached about politics and how to be a proper princess
At the age of five, she had enough of the constant nagging about being a tomboy and snuck out of the castle at night.
She wanted to see the world outside of her room she saw as a cage.
As she was walking around the village she ran into some trouble.
It was a man who was not a good person.
He tried to capture her to do unspeakable things but was hit on the head with a big rock
The one who threw the rock was a boy named Reo.
After that they became good friends and whenever Rem snuck out of the castle they would have there secret talk time.
Reo was really into swords and sorcery and wanted to become a knight of the kingdom when he grows up.
Rem grew interested and wanted to see Reo use a stick like a sword.
He did not seem very good unlike Rem’s knights and laughed a bit.
Reo then challanged Rem to a dual.
But unexpectedly, Rem was amazing with a stick even though she has never once touched a sword.
Reo then asked Rem if she would become a adventurer or a knight.
Rem didn’t know what she wanted yet.
Usually, one does not choose their future until they go through the god’s ritual at the age of 10
the ritual that worships the god Chloe who had saved the world of humans by giving a human every 150 years the power of the Hero.
However, one day Rem was walking around her castle when she came across the Kingdom Knights training room.
She had asked a knight if she could have a practice match, and after lots of arguing of fighting against a princess, the caption of the knights decided to take her on to humor her.
He was not expecting the princess to be so good with a sword.
He won, but not unscathed.
After that, Rem BlueRose decided that she wants to train as a knight.
Her parents gave in after much arguing and let her practice under the Knight Caption.
After 3 years at the age of 8, she was already a force to be rekoned with.
She has already beat every knight one on one except the captin.
And after that her parents decided that after her ritual she should try to be a Princess Knight.
Like usual, she sneaks out at night and meets up with Reo.
Reo decided if Rem was going to be a knight then so will he.
He promised to practice so onece they reach 10 and after the ritual, he will be ready to fight by her side.
They made a promise to stay toghether and protect eachother back to back.
And the awaited day had come.
The ritual that all resients of the BlueRose kingdom has to go through has begun for Rem and Reo and many others.
A member of the church would call up a child one by one to put there hand on the Goddess Orb and see what the god Chloe has gifted them.
The orb will glow and then give the child the ability to see their stats and there Jobclass.
Finally, it was Rems turn.
She, the third princess got a lot of attention as she walked up to the orb.
She put her hand on it and a massive glowing light had blinded everyone.
She was told to open her stats by the church member.
She did and she had the title SpellBlade.
A being that can use both swords and sorcery.
However that was not her only ability.
She had gotten Light Element LV 5.
Which means the god Chloe had decided to make her the hero.
everyone cheered but she was stunned.
The hero who would have the chance to defeat the demon lord and his army.
after all the cheering the ritual continued.
No one got anything to special.
It was Reo’s turn.
Rem became excited believing he was going to be favorited like her.
He spent so much of his life practicing swords with her, he was a hard worker and deserved something special.
He put his hand on the orb.
LV 1 Support.
a being who can use support magic and can even debuff enimies.
But LV 1 was not good.
He got ignored while Rem got the most attention.
That night Rem snuck out to meet Reo.
Reo had not given up on becoming worthy or her and sweared he will continue his training.
Their promise still stands.
15 years later Rem has already become well known around the world as a powerful hero.
She had become a S class adventurer and got herself a party of powerful members.
Kisa Vortex, a cat beastwoman who she saved from slavery had followed her and became the third member of her party.
Dragona Snow, a proud and powerful Dragonkin who had fought the Hero Rem and lost and Decided to announce Rem her rival and joined her party.
And the other member.
Reo West, a childhood friend of Rem BlueRose the hero.
No one knows why he stayed with the hero’s party since he doesn’t accomplish much.
Kisa and Dragona are fine with him and enjoy his company.
But LV 1 Support does ittle to nothing.
Reo stayed detirmined, even if he could not be a powerful magic or sword user.
He still wanted to support Rem in any way he could.
This party have journeyed around the world, defeating monsters and members of the demon king’s army as well as corrupted humans like bandits or slave traders.
There journey continued all the way to now.
Where they are about to fight the 1st General, Soul
A Lich and the most powerful of the four demon generals.
Rem decided he should be firts to defeat out of the four generals.
because he had the power Soul Reaper and Soul Control the more time that passed on the more powerful undead he can make for the demon king’s army.
And this is where the story starts.
Rem, Reo, Kisa and Dragona had finally found Soul the Lich and got ready to fight him.
“He already has so many powerful undead” yelled Rem as she and the others ran forward.
“Who cares, all we have to do is slash them” said Kisa who is wearing her main weapon Claw Gauntlets.
“Yes, I see no problem” said Dragona gliding forward.
“Just don’t get careless” said Rem.
“Heh, let’s see how strong we gotten” said Kisa smirking.
“Sure, let’s see who can kill the most undead before the Lich” said Dragona who then flew fast at the monsters.
“Do you really think you can outspeed me” yelled Kisa dashing forward at the undead at amazing speed.
“Really guys” said Rem but she smiled because she knew they could take them.
Rem clashed with the undead starting with the powerful Undead Goblins.
She easily slashed through them in breakneck speed and used Fire Beam at some Ork undead making there way to her.
They disintrigated.
Reo finally caught up and started his physical buff skill on Rem.
Rem got a little more stronger and faster.
“Thanks Reo” yelled Rem.
“Hey Reo, what took you so long” snickered Kisa as she slashed through undead skeleton knights with her amazing speed.
They continued the fight and finally Soul showed himself.
“Hmmm, this could be a problem” said Soul watching the hero’s party
“A powerful Cat beastwomen with insanly high speed and high attack power, a powerful DragonKin with strong duribility and LV 4 Blizzard and Flame magic and then” he turned towards the hero.
“The hero, she’s already this strong...”
Soul didn’t even notice Reo.
Soul started using his power to summon more powerful undead but his summoning was slower then the speed they are destroying his men at.
Finally, The hero’s party turned to the only enemy left, Soul the Lich.
Soul tried using his power to corrupt Kisa who has the least magic power but Rem canceled it immediatly.
“Don’t you dare and try that!” yelled Rem.
“You think your tough” yelled Kisa delivering a powerful Axe Kick on Souls head.
“Fuck you, you dam beast” yelled Soul
He then quickly charged then shot a blast of elemental energy at Dragona.
Dragona just stood there and took it
“Did you think such weak power could harm me” snickered Dragona who then shot a powerful Fire Beam from her mouth.
Soul dodged it but Dragona followed him with the beam.
“What the hell is going on? you all should not be this powerful” yelled Soul as he flew around trying to avoid the beam.
Just then he got kncoked to the ground.
Kisa had did another axe kick from behind.
Soul tried to get up but Dragona summoned her chains of torture and they wraped around Soul keeping him still.
“No! No! this can’t be happining” yelled Soul.
“This is the end first General” said Rem firmly holding her sword behind her head.
“This won’t be the end” yelled Soul “I cannot be killed!”
“Yes you will” said Rem who started to charge her LV 5 Holy Blade Slash attack.
“You Fool” spat Soul “I will make sure you regret humiliating me”
“Goodbye Lich” said Rem and then she slashed at him
A powerful slash of light colladed into Soul and he disintigrated.
All four of the hero’s party stood their for a moment.
Then Kisa broke the silence.
“Did we actually defeat the strongest general this easily?” she asked
“Guess so, either we are to powerful or the generals are actually weak” smirked Dragona.
“This is to unreal” said Rem
She looked around at the massive piles of dead bodies.
There was around 3000 bodies and they beat them and Soul in less than 20 minuetes.
Rem who already knows she is strong was still shocked at how easy it was.
“I get it” smirked Kisa “It was easy because Reo was buffing us”
“Huh?” said Reo who was quiet this whole time.
“Oh ya, that makes sense” said Dragona smiling “Thank you for that Reo”
“Huh! but-” started Reo
“You did good” said Rem sheathing her sword.
“I don’t think I did much” said Reo looking down.
“You did buff us which is still help” said Rem.
“Ya, I got really fast thanks Reo” said Kisa smiling
She was already overwhelmingly fast, so a buff at LV 1 would seem unoticable.
“I did buff you guys but I think you were just to strong anyways” said Reo “and my debuffs on the lich wouldn’t work at all”
“He’s a general’ said Dragona “it probably won’t affect him”
“Does this mean a Demon General Barrier is down?” asked Kisa.
“Yes, one of the four barriers are down” said Rem walking away “And then we can fight the demon lord”
“If the most powerful general was this easy, how easy do you think the Demon King will be?” asked Kisa, following Rem with her hands behind her head.
“If they are as weak as him, then consider this world saved” said Dragona waling beind Kisa.
Rem was thinking to herself.
She knows that they have trained like crazy for 15 years but to think that this was this easy...
Rem stopped and looked into the distance.
If the demon king is as weak as she now thinks, will she even get a challange?
Rem has not lost a fight since she was 12 fighting the knight caption of her kingdom.
After that, she got into fights with so many people and monsters for varius reasons and none were a challange for her.
The most hardest fight she ever had was against Kisa and Dragona who she fought at the same time and she beat them with minimal difficulty.
They continued walking.
“Guess we will go back and report to father” said Rem
“The king will probably pass out after hearing how easily we beat the lich” said Kisa.
“Yes, and after all the things he was saying about how we needed more training before fighting him” smirked Dragona.
They all continued to make there way back to the BlueRose kingdom.
Half way there, they started a camp for the night.
Kisa and Dragona fell aslep easily and Rem was resting.
Reo was watching the fire for the first shift.
He gazed into the fire and was thinking.
His teammates are amazing they got so strong so fast.
But he on the other hand...
Am I just slowing them down?
“You ok?” asked Rem sitting next to Reo.
“Your up?” asked Reo “you should get some rest”
‘It’s fine, I rested enough” said Rem
They both stared into the fire for a bit
“Am I even needed?” asked Reo breaking the silence.
“Yes you are” said Rem sternly looking at him.
Reo was thinking back, he trained all the time but still could’nt get any worthy accomplishments and the other adventures made fun of him.
“Why is a guy like that in the hero’s party?” asked one adventurer to another
“He must be powerful in some way if he’s with the hero” said another.
“No way, I saw him lose a fight to an old lady with only LV 2 fighting skills” lauged another.
Reo was silent at the fire.
He stayed with Rem and the others because he wanted to stand at Rems side and would train exessevly if he had to.
Not just because of a promise they made as kids.
But because deep down, he was in love with Rem.
He fell in love with her when they were young and planned to tell her when he caught up but that never happened.
He stayed weak.
“Don’t worry” said Rem holding his hand “I know all your training you do will pay off someday”
“Thank you” said Reo quietly
“Don’t worry, You will get there someday, I believe you will” she said getting up
Rem went back to her futon to get some more rest.
Reo went back to thinking.
He trains so much but somehow was not improving.
even with all these years of training, he did better at being there errand boy never mind supporter.
It makes no sense, even others with LV 1 powers still could get better with training even without the god given skills of what they are training for.
It’s like God is blocking me from getting stronger.
Like she is saying I should not be here.
Reo looked over at Rem.
She always says the thing I hate the most.
I will protect you.
He has been dying to say these words to her instead
But it’s like his story won’t allow that.
“I can’t leave yet” whispered Reo to himself “Not until the Demon Lord is dead”
Even if he is useless, he can at least still carry there bags.
“Time to switch Reo” said Kisa behind him.
She wasn’t talking cocky like she useually does.
“Okay, thank you” said Reo and walked to his futon and layed down.
I need to get stronger, Reo thought to himself before falling asleep.
The Hero’s part had reached the BlueRose kingdom and was talking to the king.
They gave the report of how the battle went while the king sat there stunned and silent.
“And that’s my report” said Rem.
